A few hours ago I switched the PtoTank I was using from my Vamo to one of my Vision Spinners (1300 mAh) and the Spinner was way better on taste, th and vapor production. The tank is 2.4 - 2.6 resistance. The Vamo is set for RMS and the watts are set at 6.0. The Spinner is set at 4.2 volts. The Vamo is not moving from 4.1v no matter what I set the watts to. Moving the watts to 7,8,9 etc just burns the juice. Why is the Spinner outperforming the Vamo? Thanks for any info.

What mode are you using your Vamo in? N01 or N02?

Never mind. I just re-read your post and saw that you are in RMS.

Don't know what to say about the Vamo hitting better than the Spinner? Mine does. I'm in RMS Mode using VV.

I am and have been in RMS mode. My basic question is why a Spinner is outperforming a Vamo? That's basically a rhetorical question but I would love to see opinions.

I Dunno.

Like I said, I have both and the Vamo, to me, hits better.

Maybe it is an Air Flow issue and not a Voltage issue?

N02 is RMS mode. If you are in N01 mode you won't see good results. Hold either the + or - button for ten seconds to switch between N01 and N02.

Hold BOTH the + and - down for three seconds to switch between VV and VW modes.

Sent from my Galaxy S3

You can also hold down EITHER button for 10 seconds and the same change will happen.

How do you know the voltage isn't changing if you're in VW mode? Output voltage isn't displayed on the LCD while in VW. You must be looking at battery voltage.

Exactly what I said in the second post, i.e., that it was a dumb question. Please read further.

I don't think it's a dumb question. You're just confused about some things. Your spinner being set at 4.2 volts with the ohmage you state will give you between 6.78 - 7.35 watts. Have you tried setting the Vamo to VV mode and setting it to 4.2 volts? Are you using stacked batteries?

No stacked batteries. Using Panasonic 18650. When I did try the VV mode I totallhy destroyed a coil head.

What initially drew my attention was the intensity of the flavor of the ProTank when switched to the Spinner from the Vamo.

I got my protank couple of days ago,, and for sure works better on my twist with the ring on, in the vamo i cant use the Protank ring and is extremely airy and in 8 watts is a bit better but if i up the watts i have the burn taste, in my twist at 4.8v with the head coil out of the box is a bit less airy and a bit better flavor /th

Looks like the ProTank likes better a flush mount, so vamo and protank does not mix well
