@thanswr1, did you use a credit card?

As if you did, I'm thinking of charge back or whatever they call it.

As you haven't recieved the item or items that you have paid for and have a receipt and shipping details to prove this.

It may well be worth putting it in your next correspondence with Sourcemore if this option is available to you, as sellers hate this option and they may come up with an acceptable solution then.

It's just an idea.

Thanks all for the suggestions, opinions and support.

Today, Sourcemore came up with a ridiculous counter offer email. As I said previously, I give people lots of "walk back room" as is reasonable.

    Sourcemore wasn't reasonable.

So I went nuclear demanding Sourcemore send me the Brunhilde I ordered or refund my money. Since this is Thursday, I gave them until Monday to ship my correct order with a tracking number. Or a notice I am receiving a refund.

If Sourcemore decides they don't want to do either one of those things, first thing Tuesday morning, I file a complaint with my credit card company.

As to the wrong item they sent me, if they want it back, I demanded they send a prepaid shipping label and mailer for their USA warehouse so I can ship their mistake back.

If they don't want to do that, I thanked them for the gift of the Krienhild Sub Ohm Tank.

Again, thanks all. Sometimes something happens that has one asking the question "is it me".

Thanks all for the validation it isn't me. :)

I had a similar experience with FT who asked me to send a wrong item back. I supplied them with the tracked cost (a screen grab from the mail site) which was 3 times the value of the item. They immediately responded with 'keep it, we'll send the correct item'......
You are definitely in the right on this one. Receive what you paid for or the contract is broken. It's entirely down to the sender to sort this.

Since this is Starting to Escalate, maybe it would be a Good Idea to have a Mod move this thread to here...

Someone (who is not involved in this thing) from that company might read it and say WTF? and show it to a manager or supervisor or somebody. That might result in thanswr1 getting a huge 'we are sorry about his whole thing' present.

Isn’t the point of having a US warehouse to handle exactly this type of mistake? They have a US warehouse so we, humans located in the US, can get products faster and shipping is cheaper, but also to make the problem you have much easier to correct. You are not out of line, their mistake, they pay any fees acquired in the process of correcting mistake. If you still get resistance just try to go up the chain of command until you get a big dog that don’t have time for this nonsense and just gives you what you want because time is money and customer service takes time and makes no money which infuriates the big dog who’s all about that paper chase. Whoa that was a mouthful run on sentence, so to sum it up no you are not out of line, you are dead center walking that line like a good consumer.

I have no objection to this thread being moved. If this thread should be somewhere else please move it.

Sourcemore has its own subforum here and they can respond there. They are not allowed to post anywhere else--per forum rules--even if they see this thread.

    @classwife :)

That said, they are totally out of line, not you. You paid for a product you didn't receive. They need to fix it. Fingers crossed.

And just like magic, she appears!
    :offtopic:

That reminds me of a joke I read somewhere: An old man in the mall asks a beautiful young woman to help him find his wife. She has no idea if she can help, but she really wants to help out this old man so she says, "Ok, what do you want me to do?". He tells her to just talk with him and his wife will just appear!

I have done a two charge backs on my credit card for this type thing. Both times, the credit card company deals with them and asks them to make it right. If they do not respond (and both times they did not) you win and the c.c company gives you your money back

That's helpful. What do you do when you pay with your cc via PayPal? Do you go to PP or cc? Does it matter. Never happened to me--somehow I've been lucky and have always been able to resolve any issues I had with the vendors quietly via emails, but one never knows...
