Hello, I am kinda new to this. I have a 6ml dct tank with smoktech carts and on about day two of use it starts to flood. Any input on how to stop this?

is it flooding out the battery hole or the tank itself. the smoketec cartos i used flooded out the battery hole really bad. You could try holding the loose carto up to a light with the mouth piece off and making sure that you can see light thru the end. when it's the carto, i stick a paper clip up the end to either clear the air hole or fidget it around to try to fix the leak.

the tank should not leak of the end pieces or on their good.

Thanks for all the replies. It is flooding from the battery end and when it does this yes i take it off and blow from the battery end and it takes care of it for some time...but then here we go again and i have to do the same thing. I am using smoktech 1.5 dual carts with just one hole and my juice is HX3 from Halo. I see that i am not the only one this happens to and i just want to know if there is anyway to keep this from happening at all.....i love the tank but this sucks. Thanks for your help

If it just keeps flooding I'd pitch that sucker and stick another one on there. I don't know that juice but I'm guessing it's 100% pg. Might try adding some vg to thicken the juice a bit. I have 2 smokteks on tanks now with 1/4 inch slits cut in them but my juice is thick so I don't get any flooding.

Your liquid's probably too thick. I used a lot of Red Oak JC liquids (all VG) and they did this a lot with SmokTech carts.

Take a hammer/nail and make the holes bigger. Don't go in too deep or make them way too wide.

A lot of time VG's so thick it can't pull a steady stream through the hole. It'll pully tiny blobs that get stuck up in there. I have better luck with thinner liquids with those things but still have to punch them.

If you blow in the cart with the tank on, it'll keep draining out until it's almost empty. Best advice it to take the carto out, cover the holes on the side, blow it out, and let it sit for a while. I'll normally just move on to the next cart while I'm waiting.

100% VG seems to do this in all carts. At least that has been my {limited} experience. Then others say it doesn't wick well in clearos. Well, other than dripping, since people ARE vaping 100% VG, it'd be nice to see a manufacturer actually make a device for us? :)
