I install mine while the wire is still around the drill bit and keep my coils about 1/8"off the bottom CLOUD MAKER

Interesting... Do you have a specific reason for tilting the coil that way? I'm planning to get an RM2, so it seems I have 86 pages to read in the coming days... In the meantime, how high off the deck do you usually keep your coils at? Thanks!

Here's my latest build. Yes I always try to slope them. Higher on the juice hole side but low overall to keep TH low. Too close = poor drainage. Too high = too much TH
