I want to order one, but which wick and wire set up should I buy? I just want to make a standard 2.0 Ohm setup.

Thanks :)

Decidion, I use 32 AWG Kanthal and I do about 4-5 wraps and I get a coil that's between 1.4 - 1.6 ohms. If you wanted 2.0 ohm, I think you could use the 32 AWG and do about 6 or 7 wraps. There's a pretty good chart that shows the resistance per inch of different sizes of wire: Resistance Wire (ohms/in) This might help. Basically, the smaller the number, the "thicker" the wire, and the lower the ohms. (The lower the ohms, the more wraps it'll take to get up to 2.0 ohms.)

I don't use silica (I use cotton thread) so not sure about which size on that. But, I don't think it'll matter much. Maybe order a little of each and experiment.

Thanks! I ordered both 32 and 30 AWG wire and I'll experiment around :)

By the way, what are the pros/cons of using cotton vs silica thread?

Here's a LONG thread about it. It's just a personal preference, and you will need to decide for yourself. I feel like cotton is safer, but am not really in a position to argue the point. I read (and participated in) this long thread about it...and I am convinced cotton is safer....it's just more natural and organic. Happy reading. :)

Hi Rob,
I have just put an order for the RBA atomizer and some accessories. Would it be okay for you to hold the shipment, until you receive my Reo VVW and fix the fire button and send me back in a single package? I am more than happy to pay for a bit more shipping than paying two times shipping(international).
I can do that for you pm me your order number
