I'll just ask: Does anyone else find that vaping makes their urine smell quite strong?

I'm not sure if it is the vaping or if, perhaps, my nose is picking up as I cut down on the analogs. I've always had a very keen sense of smell, but do know that we are less sensitive to our own bodily smells than those of others.

tl;dr Does your pee stink since you took up vaping?

Usually strong urine smell comes from being dehydrated (it was something the docs told me to watch out for when caring for relatives.) Vaping can dehydrate you, so drink tons more water than you think you need to, and the smell should go away.

...LOLOLOL...I know it's true BUT, I always drink lots of water...and I mean lots and my pee is still strong(like me)...must be all the herbs and seasonings I put in my cooking...........

Tresgay yes, I have noticed that, but I think it's from the body's breakdown products of the flavor chemicals more than anything. When I go a whole day or more only vaping my mint mix, it doesn't happen at all. The days I spent a lot of time trying out various other flavor mixes, it definitely got funky. I'm paying attention to that as I decide what to use for the 'all day' juice.

If it's really dark colored and smelly, you don't drink enough water. Urine should almost be the same color as water with just a hint of yellow. Vaping dehydrates all of us so increase your water and it'll level itself out. After you get that straightened out, you'll need to add a drop of bean-o to your juice...bad rancid gas will start in if it hasn't already. Read the thread that someone above me posted...it's hysterical and so true.

This is too funny! If I were drinking coffee right now I'd have spit it out more than once by reading the responses here!! Firstly, I quit smoking BEFORE I started vaping and I can tell you that it's because of your new improved sense of smell and not the vapes.(pun intended for those who remember what the vapes are back in the olden days! lol!) When I quit smoking I could smell my urine for the first time ever! Didn't know it smell like THAT! lol! But if your urine has a very yellow color you need to drink more cause that means you're dehydrated. Other than that I'd see a Dr about more serious problems.

An indelicate question, indeed (not to mention, funny as hell  )

Just keep in mind, that as you leave analog cigarrettes behind, your body is going through some changes, the most of which is purging it of the 400+ carcinogens found in analogs. In other words, don't worry about that right now--increase your water intake, continue to cut back on the analogs (do yourself a favor--if you're truly enjoying the vape experience, try dropping the analogs entirely one day, and see how you feel for the next 72 hours), and see how things go then.
