Whew Baby! I just gave 2 weeks notice at my job of 5 years that I've been fairly miserable at for the last 2-3 months. Talk about blowing up your life to watch it settle back together differently! I feel so empowered by quitting cigarettes! & now together with this other major step in my life, watch out world, here I come!! :)
Doing very well on day 5 of no analogs. Continuing to supplement with snus a few times a day (thank goodness for the snus!!) vaping 30ishmg juices still. I prefer a variety of juices as opposed to any particular juice so far, and the regular sized Fluxomizers work well for easily switching to another juice. It's all working wonderfully!
If I can do it, anyone can do it, really!!

I feel for you, 12 years ago I lost a job I had for 21 years ( they closed that facility )

it was heart wrenching to try and start over at 44 years old ( at the time )

Turned it into the best thing that ever happened to me, and you can too.

Grats on quitting smoking, I am 11 days in with no cigarettes, and doing and feeling fine, I don’t even want a cigarette.

Congrats and to all the newbs, it does get easier!
I quit analogs the day I received my Ego. It was hard to make the transition for the first week 'cold turkey.' The 2nd week was easier as the 20yr habits were starting to all come undone.

However, some time during my 3rd week, my juice shipment was delayed and I bought a pack of cigs for the meantime. After I lit my 1st one, I realized that I really wasn't missing them. I just thought I was.

When my juice arrived, I reverted right back to the Ego, and have been analog-free for over a month now.
After many years of 'trying', this is the longest I've been away from cigs!
My husband is so proud of me and my son is over the moon.

i used to smoke roughly 3packs a day, truck drivers do nothing but chainsmoke --- i myself tried many things like patches and whatnot but i just could keep the patches to stay lit :(

anyways, think what helped me, was to start first thing in morning after good night sleep. your body had a 7-8hour break from analogs and that morning vape does the trick with 24-36mg and the right flavor

same trick to use if someone goes to full flavor analogs to lights or ultra lights, do it first thing in the morning --- you cant smoke full flavors all morning -- then expect to be happy or satisfied if you smoke a ultra light after lunch

i been continuasly analog free since feb 1st -- but i did test out the 510's last october and new they would work for me as soon as my mail order of 40 cartons of analogs ran out --- feb 1st was good date for me --- so happy to be able to smell again

good luck to your analog free days in the future --- i know i am beyond happy now

thanks Scooter :)
zeromisfit, you CAN do it!!! Pick up some swedish snus, the snus help me get through uncomfortable moments. Between vaping & snus, quitting has been so obscenely easy I almost feel guilty! But not quite haha, feeling to good to feel at all bad right now :)
Paula, I love seeing you around the forums, thank you lots for that happy dance!!
Crazyodaz that's awesome to hear! I have an uncle whos a trucker that I would love to turn on to vapning!!
Sophie, I'm so happy for you! Isn't it great to have our children proud of us? My daughter is proud of me too, it feels so good!

congrats on quitting. hoping in the coming weeks when my EC arrives I'll be having just as much luck

I got my PV @ 11:30 on the 2nd was happily vaping by noon, haven't touched an analog since. Still have 2 left in the pack I was smoking on when my PV arrived, I just look at them and smile knowing I don't want them anymore.

Out of curiosity.. are you a fiend? :)
