Ok Snow....
Here is my review
1. Phil's videos need to come with a "possible seasickness" warning
2. Phil DOES have good info, but may need to cut back on the caffeine
3. Phil would probably be unable to talk if his hands were tied
4. If you download the video and play it slower, you may possibly be able to avoid the double dose of dramamine
5. You need to hook Phil up with your manicurist:lol:

I have the tox vision.. I bought it when it first came out. The one I have is nothing more then the original lavatube with a facelift. It has the same exact problems. It has a low amp switch so it wont fire low resistance above 3.7v. It also wont fire Dual coils at high voltage either. I don't know what generation head this model uses but the 1st and 2nd generation heads are pretty bad. They misfire contently. It sputters, spots, and starts. I do use it with 2.5+ ohm cartos because it will fire them at high voltage. There was a metal version 3 head that came out of this mod, supposed to fix everything but I don't know anyone who is selling it because its been discontinued by Vision.

Not disrespecting Phil Snow, he has really great information. I was just making an observation about his information delivery style. Reminds me of people from Philly. They talk fast and talk with their hands. :D You two do kind of look alike:laugh:

If you look at pics of the vision tox, and you look at pics Wader posted, particularly the 'activation button' side with the little 'dots' above and below it, the 2 piece design, the clock, puff counter, 'easter egg' message, there is pretty much no doubt that's exactly what it is. For myself at least, the question now is is the head V1, V2, V3, or something else?

Yeah i also am going to wait till Mr. M gets his and can relay some info on it. I really want a VV but also would like to get it from V4L. I like to support them cause they have supported me for like almost 3 years now, with like 6month of a break in the middle. Eventhough i wasn't vaping much I still had alot of extra carts and juice from all the free stuff they threw in with orders back then. but i kind of have a feeling if i don't hear something soon i will end up caving and getting the really really expensive mod from that other place! But if this has the v3 head i will most likely give it a shot.

8 of the 9 resellers that started carrying this unit in May/June have already discontinued it. The only other one left that I could find has it on discount no warranty/no returns and a long disclaimer stating issues with it. Here is an interesting observation...this is the most expensive item in the V4L line up and the first VV Mod they put their name to. So why do the customers have to rely on Morandir who doesn't even have one for answers or have to search out the answers on their own? These are not tech on-load voltage numbers questions, these are the most basic product questions imaginable.

Anyone thinking the staff hasn't peeked on this is out of their mind....so where are the answers? Who did the research on this and gave it a thumbs up given the numerous poor reviews and owner complaints?

In the mean time the 2 VV units I mentioned get great reviews and the large resellers can't keep them in stock. Does every decision have to be dictated by a 400-1000% mark-up? With 200+ products, wouldn't it be ok to have 2 or 3 that maybe only have 30-100% mark-up simply due to the fact that they are the best APVs for the price range on the market. As I mentioned in my Product Suggestion post, stop giving these Mods line names. You named it, now you own it, good or bad, but if it is bad all it does is take away from years of building a hard earned reputation with the KR batt lines. If it's the Vision Tox, Bolt or 5v Mod then leave it at that. When it comes to 510 hardware stop with the one foot in, one foot out approach and supply 510 Tank Cartos at least. What logistical issue does that present, a few extra boxes from Smoketech to throw into the Cargo Container that's already heading to your office?

People will still buy prefilled 808 cartos, blanks, or 808 Tanks and simply use an 808-510 adapter...I do it all the time. For a company that has the best stick batteries why are the Mods such a challenge when there are so many good ones to choose from? It's insulting to have a staffer claim how cool these are or suggesting people hurry to buy them when extremely limited information is provided, questions go unanswered for days, and the unit itself has an absolutely abysmal track record. Nobody could call Morandir or I, Skype us, e-mail us and simply ask, "Hey were looking for Mods in this price range which ones do you think are the best we can get for the family?"

Great Products = Happy Customers. Happy Customers = Higher Sales. Higher Sales = More $$$$ and New Happy Customers. This is not a terribly difficult concept to grasp.

and after some more thinking.....V4L I will still buy juice and a few other things here and there from you, but for mods I will go elsewhere. With the fail 5v OMG and then this vv I cant trust the mods you may come out with/pick up. But with that being said i still love my OMGad(bolt) just hope the wireing will hold up.....just wont put a high drain battery or a kick in it. :( which kind of was my plan when i bought it. oh well.

EDIT: Also please don't get me wrong. With your awesome customer support I will still support you, just not with mods. After re-reading this post it felt a bit hostile, which was not my intention. Just my thoughts.

Unfortunately Snow, sometimes businesses fail to utilize one of their greatest free assests - the knowledge and desires of their customer base. A simple survey for the general customer base and consulting with unbiased, experienced customers gives one a good idea of what would make a good new product. People want to support a company they like, especially one that values their input. They asked for new flavor ideas. I'm wondering why they didn't ask us what quality features would be desirable in a mod, and what price range we would be willing to pay for those quality features? It seems that there are a lot of mod users in our family so I'm sure there would have been a huge response with realistic price submissions. No intelligent person thinks you can give things away and stay in business. Those that would post otherwise would just expose their ignorance.

I've been watching this line of discourse for awhile and I would like to add my 2 cents.

I've been a loyal V4L customer since I began vaping in January. This is where I started and I am so grateful. I loved the products and told everyone I knew about them. Some started vaping because of my success. Again, very grateful. I loved the forum...met wonderful people and made friends there. I also got amazing, quick information which I appreciated.

Then I discovered other places and things. V4L wasn't keeping up with my interests and needs, for lack of a better word. Still loved the product, but I felt I had outgrown them in a way. I wanted more than an ego or stick batteries and there were none to be had.

Now, they are finally being offered..but are substandard...old versions of things that are readily available at half the price elsewhere. I understand making a profit, but really? Not only are these devices not up to par, but from what I've read...elsewhere, potentially dangerous.

Stop hiding and reply to us. Your silence is deafening. Why don't we see a little honesty...it was a poor choice, we didn't know but would like to make it right, something along those lines. Integrity and honesty are priceless and THOSE things will keep people coming back. Not ignoring an issue and hoping it will go away.

You might lose my business, and there was a lot in the beginning. Worst of all, you might lose my respect.
