Well looks like I'm going to cave and get a OMG VV. A friend wants some tanks and juice so if I sell that for $55 it brings the $99.96 kit down to $45 for the device charger and battery. So when ever it shows up next week I'll compare it to my v2 Young June. One thing I know for sure vv is the way to go once you decide to jump from the regular (yet awesome) V4L 808 batteries.

One question, i know it was touched on, but what y'all think of using IMR batts? I know most tubes recommend it.

Thanks

So far, AW IMR are the only batteries I have used.

I just got mine in today. The one battery that came with it is currently on the charger so I'll be ready to use it this evening. I do have a quick question though. I did not see where V4L has spare 18500 batteries in stock. Could anyone recommend a place to get a couple of spare ones in case I need to swap throughout the day?

Also does it matter whether it's a button top or flat top?

Thanks man. I went ahead and ordered two types of batteries. One appears to be the same as the 18500 that was shipped with the device. The other is one of the efests recommended by another vaper with this device. I'll probably hold off on the efest until I see what you have to say about the device.

Now I will say that so far I'm a couple of hours into this thing, and it seems to be a good vape. My only other mod comparison is the GLV2 which I liked a lot until I dropped it and broke the head. This is my first attempt at VV, so it's very nice to be able to tune in my sweet spot, which will likely vary between flavors and atomizers/cartomizers. The display is cool with the vape counter and battery indicator which powers off automatically a second after you take your vape.

I don't know much about all of the different devices as I'm the kind that finds something that works and sticks with it. So far this thing works and works well, so let's hope it continues to do so.

My OMG VV finally came today. So far so good! Haven't used the battery that came with it. With VV devices I like to use imr batteries. Right now I am useing the Efest 18500 IMR and I love it. I'm using the OMG VV exclusively at work today. Gonna put a review up tonight after I get home.

A button top should work. But I don't have a 18500 button top to try.

Yeah, all in all I like it. Honestly I like my 18650 VV Gripper and V2 Young June(LT) more. Again I will touch on that in my review. But with that being said, I for the most part really like this VV. Just had a couple little issues, but yeah very good device. I kind of went out on a limb ordering it, but now I am happy I got it! Hopefully that continues!

Received mine today, wasn’t sure what to expect based on what I have read so far posted by others. I must admit this was more of an impulsive purchase to own a factory made VV device. So far I only had experience with building my own VV boxes or buying some similar VV boxes for around $50 when I was too lazy to build them.
Anyway, opened the box, installed the battery which came with the device, attached V4L’s dual coil 2.0ohm cartomizer inside V4L’s clear tank set the OMG VV to 4.8 and started to vape. After around 12 puffs the unit stopped working, I quickly looked at the display but only caught the last word of the message “Master!” the Unit would not turn ON so I re-installed same battery, some puffs later same thing happed and once again I only saw part of the error message “Master!” and the unit would not respond. After the 3rd incident replacing same battery did not turn the unit ON, so I pulled my voltage meter and it showed 3.9 on the battery so it should still work unless it is the OMG malfunctioning.
I placed the battery in the charged which came with the unit and I am going to sleep now. If OMG VV will not work in the morning well then I hope V4L will refund my purchase.
I hope this isn’t one of those times “you get what you pay for” cause then I should have just bought the ProVari long ago, seeing that I have spent more time and money on building them and buying multiple VV boxes for $50 each.
I really hope things will turn out for the best in the morning, will update then.

    Good night.
