this is mainly for the joye 510 but use your imagination works perfect for me

1 rinse the atomiser well

2 bake the coil till its glowing red for about 30 seconds repeat if necessary do this untill you cant get the coil to glow any brighter

3 rinse with water

4 dry with hand dryer if in public restroom works well for me or use hairdryer

5 rinse with water again just to be sure the burnt taste is gone

6 dry again

7 prime and vape!

works pretty well i must say i did this when i got bored working for SE had the 510 out on my restroom break and cleaned it by doing this pretty big difference i must say:D

Could you do an update on this a little bit in the future because I'm really curious about it. I was going to try a really similar method early on (because the heat system made sense to me at the time) but then read all the advice that the one single thing that shortens the life of atomizers the quickest is overheating them without juice in them. Since you've already started on this route it would be good to know how long your atty lasts.

there was a thread amonth ago about dry burning daily.........some still do it. It is important to do it from day one if you go this route.......caked up atty's can break under dry burn methods. I don't clean anything

Happily--that was Exogenious who used both peroxide and a dry burn with sucess. Stubborn Pete also found success with the dry burn method, but no more then 10 seconds or so with a little higher voltage then stock batteries.

and yeah i chose to go with no hyrdogen peroxide because i thought of how tightly packed togethor attys are being as ive taken a few apart no matter how much you try theres allways that TINY hiding place that something likes to stick in and ive switched to this particular 510 atty as my main vape about 1ml a day whats the avg lifespan of a 510 atty? and also i bought an m401 WTF?!?!? dissapointment kinda

The atty in my M401 was starting to put out a harsh taste and really killed the flavor. It had some charred black specks on the wick. I blew it dry with compressed air, soaked it in a shot glass filled with isopropyl alcohol for a while, blew it out again, and let it sit to make sure all the alcohol was evaporated. I could see some tiny black specks left in the shot glass when I removed the atty. After it was completely dry, I tried it out. It was just like new with no harsh taste.

3.7v but heres the thing and please people do your research before taking another members word or advice a nichrome wire (the coil) in our atomisers will survive tempatures of 1400 degrees farenheit and the solder joint will survive till around 450-600 the fact of the solder REALLY depends on the type the size of the solder joint etc etc so people if you can understand to rinse for at least 30 seconds to get rid of the burnt taste after the dry burns have fun ive been using the same exact joye 510 atomizer for 7-8 months now
