Then I take it the key word is "lightly"...hmmm, musta overlooked that...
...you guys are past this level of enjoyment . Ok. I need all the tips I can get.
...I probably would have figured it to be tobacco flavored hot cocoa mix. Thanks :).

Well if you'll recall... it's been a very few days since my similar incident!8-o

As for tips well, the best I can give ya would be to get yourself over to snuffhouse.org, and read read read. The Wiz and I are both new members, have asked a few questions regarding snuff styles and gotten good answers.

But yeah, LIGHTLY is the key. Small amounts, enhale lightly and that Brutons is supposed to be a killer w/ respect to the nic content so go slow!

OTD....Great description for snuff intake there!! After trying just about everything there is to do...the thumb/finger method has worked out best for me....and as you mentioned it's important to get it in the front part of your nose....otherwise the drain can be a killer!! I personally think you get the most and longest lasting flavor with that approach also!!:)The Wiz!

I thank you sir! I'm learning. WoS Chocolate/Orange only today and no congestion, watery eyes or nuthin'.

This is proving an enjoyable thing to practice!

Ok, sounded easy... Apple seed size pile on the web between the thumb and pointer...inhaling gently....not moving:confused:. Inhaling a little harder...not moving . A little harder...maybe a little movement, pile still looking back at me :-x. Harder still...(slam)..ow..ok, I got it (snot). Finesse is unknown to me. This is gonna take practice.

Thanks, OTD. Sounds like a winner :).

Their website shows 17.66mg/g. Yeh, it hurts a little and makes my armpits sweat...sorta enjoyable, though :).

Oh cool! My tearn for some larnin' TV.

What site are you looking at that gives actual numbers for nic content. so far everything I've seen is just rather cryptic nic levels of High, Medium and Low

ussmokeless.com (US Smokeless tobacco Co.) Although it only lists their brands. Check it out and see what you think :).

That's certainly interesting TV. I've looked at a handful of other manufacturer sites and hadn't found that kind of detail.

So far, the only other one is Marlboro. It was a bear trying to find the right one. They have the same style set-up as US Smokeless, and shows their snus line. At this point I've only used Mboro Rich, 'til I receive from getsnus, and the Rich shows 7.61mg/g and is also pasturized. Doesn't taste bad, either. 'Course, I've nothing to compare it with but Camel Snus (gag).

OTD....You are correct sir Snuffhouse.org is a great site for useful snuff information...You post the question..and they come a runnin'!! Speaking of congestion..I purchased my first neti pot today(actually it's the squeeze bottle shape),it came with 30 packets of a saline mixture to add with warm water....Wow!! did that clear me up!! I had sinus troubles before I started snuffing(and had tried various nasel sprays),but this thing is the bomb!! Very strange feeling when you first use it,as the water passes from one nostrel and out the other(thought I was drowning until I realized I had to breathe through my mouth..LOL).Once I was done I noticed instant results. I can't wait to fill my nose up with some more snuff so I can try it again!!(even the snuff flavors are more noticable!!) I would consider this a must have for anyone with sinus problems....or just for snuffers!! :)The Wiz!

I was looking at those this morning at Walgreens Wiz. Recent cold dry snap around here and my sinus are acting up as well.

The same section of the store had another device that was supposed to flush out the sinuses. Big aerosol can with a hose. Looked more like a can of Fix-A-Flat 8-o

I walked out with a bottle of saline spray instead

OTD I am going the netty pot route..

I tried the salt douche bottle today and it slammed my sinus up tighter than a bull's .... and fly time.

I got in to much of a rush and almost blew my eyes out with honey bee today.. I was feeling it in my forehead.

Now that I have done the light in the front of nose part I am enjoying the bourbon torque just a bit more.

Still practicing. The Bruton Scotch is growing on me with each snot locker full. Still feels like a sledge hammer in the forehead, but probably adds to the relieving effect afterwards. I still have to do a fairly hard sniff to inhale the lump, but it doesn't usually end up in the back of my throat the way it did, eye sockets are being well flushed, though.
During a round of PM's to OTD I mentioned that I'd just be using snuff as a treat....seems I'm not one for long suffering, so I've decided to try a day of snus and snuff and lay the PV aside for a while. I'll see how that goes :).

Hey Dredbull
The Dholakia Swiss is like biting into a fudge brownie almost.

But.....

Darn stuff clogs me up. So I only take a pinch, one pinch, a day pretty much. Do it to much and my sinuses hurt, nose gets all caked up. poopy

From what I've been reading some folks react differently than others to a given snuff. The grind, moisture content and so on. The other ones I have don't affect me that way.

Double poopy, cuz I really like that one
