Wow..I never even thought about the connector on the Blu. The horrible battery life turned me off to those right away (even with the battery-in-the-box setup). Does give me some ideas though.

If you are serious about wanting to get off the Blue battery and have access to a soldering iron, you can build your own mod for around $10. I learned a ton of stuff from puckecig.com even though I did not end up using their build.

We have nearly the same story, I'm just a little behind you at the moment. I bought my Blu months ago, hated it, and went back to smoking. Since then my smoking has increased beyond belief, so here I am starting my research.
I am glad I stumbled across your post because I never would have thought to keep my Blu batteries and have something to connect them to as back up. So who can laugh, you were being smart and working with what you had! Your collection looks awesome, definitely inspiring to see someone who started with Blu working their way up.

Honestly, your setup did bring a smile to my face. Having failed twice vaping due to poor equipment, I take my gear seriously and am now an unexpected enthusiast and hobbyist, and have been smoke free for months now, thanks to my better gear, stronger juice, a better mindset, and a supporting family. I would say you need an upgrade, but that's just me. An excellent kit that I see touted around here a lot is the:

I still use a stick battery and an eVod when out and about with the wife on Friday Nights. I bought an NJOY ecig about 2 months ago and might have used it 3 times. I didn't get anything from it. I kept smoking analogs. My husbands friend had a CE5 torpedo and my hubby took a hit off of it and said it hit like a cigarette. So we decided to try them. I tried mine and didn't really like the flavor at first (555 lite) so I kept smoking. My husband on the other hand (he used to say he liked to smoke so he would probably do it forever) tried his Red Bull flavor and loved it. It's been two weeks for him and I have now quit analogs (3 1/2 days, going strong) and am so glad that I did. I got used to the flavor and have bought different ones. Anyways the moral of my story is, if we hadn't been with his friend, we would have never known about the different options for ecigs! It's so nice to have a chance to talk to other people about this!

I made the switch from analogs to the Blu ecig kit a little less than a month ago and have not looked back. Only smoked about 3/4 of a pack of Marloboro 72's a day so the switch wasn't hard for me at all. I wanted to quit smoking for some of the obvious reasons such as wasted money,smell,ashes all over the place, disgusting ashtray emptying and of course to breath better and live longer. I was not 100% satisfied with my Blu ecig experience so I started Googling and YouTubing and found GrimmGreen, P.Busardo, AmandaEmxoxo and you guys here and saw there was whole other world out there dealing with ecigs. I have tried a few juices and bought a couple clearomizers to try them in. At the current moment I am trying to get into the black after spending $90 on the Blu kit(what a waste), some juice and a couple of clearomizers before I start looking into upgrading again to the next non-noobish level. Here is what I am using at the moment. Feel free to laugh and point.
