Another shop gone. Don't they realize the aftermath

Good Prophets is close? There is a pinned thread about the laws passing in PA and what actions are being taken against it. Including a march at the Capitol.
I expect almost all shops to close in PA. Which will then lead to the question of how can they expect tax revenues when the shops all close down. And if they claim they never anticipated tax revenue from the statue, how can it be constitutional to subject an otherwise legally sold item to taxes so onerous so as to prevent commerce from even taking place?
I'm from indiana, and I went to one of the vape shops nearby to see what they were doing after all the regulations in our state passed...
It's sad. No more good juice (well, I DIY now, but the juice I used to get was gone), a HUGE drop in juice selection, no more samples, and they can't help you make a coil. Evidently if they help build a coil, they're a tobacco manufacturer?
The IndyStar (local newspaper) just released an article stating that the FBI is starting an investigation into the new laws though, so hopefully you guys hear something soon too!

I live in PA also, not close to York so I never had the privilege of visiting Azure. Even so they have created quite a name for themselves, excellent company, great people. This is heartbreaking. Sad days for vapeing here in the Keystone state.

FDA regulations probably had a lot to do with Azure closing but the straw that broke the camels back was the over reaching greed of the politicians in PA. That 40% product tax AND 40% floor tax was just to much. It is sad to see so many fine folks being forced out.

I believe the field of vape shops is going to get thinned quite a bit over the next two years... Unless something changes with the regs - the taxes being levied alone will be enough to put many out of business...
