Seems that charging with USB is not for you for some reason :p
U must go for a mod with replaceable battery + external battery charger + couple of spare batteries and u are set up bro..

Think about how better it is even if u run out of battery u got another fully charged with you and swap and keep vaping like a boss....the only good thing about internal battery mods is that u can find very smaller size ones....besides that there is no reason to prefer using internal battery mod...
About what atomizer to use with it we need to know what resistance and wattage u usually vape and if u use rebuildables or not with disposable coils

Alright, jesus christ. You guys made your point. I bought a piece of .... mod.

They just have really poor quality control... who knows maybe yours will be alright?

But for real... there's something wrong somewhere that's not just the devices your using.

Have you tried the Renovo Zero pods? My husband likes those, and once one up and died after 6 months, but the rest have lasted over a year...

I like the Z-Biip (by Innokin) and none of those have ever died on me (and they were bought when they first came onto market for sale) have you tried that one?

My Smok Majesty has been good for 2.5 years so far. 3 years on the G-Priv and still going. G-Priv was used when I bought it. Both of these work great with Zeus-X tanks.

No, I haven't. The mod I got was $24.99. Hopefully it works out. If it doesn't, it's not the end of the world.

Ok, he's bought the Smok, let's help him keep it running for as long as possible. 1. Use a quality charger. 2. Don't overcharge it. 3. Don't charge it overnight. 4. Dont use at the extreme maximum wattage. 5. Obviously, don't abuse it, by dropping it or getting it wet.

Well you may look into either of the two I've mentioned... the Z-Biip is available at elementvape for what you spent on the smok... and the Zero is less expensive at around 17.00

The Z-Biip is cheaper all around, because the coils are less expensive and more readily available than replacement zero pods... (the Z-Biip pod tank doesn't need replaced when the coil goes bad, just the coil... whereas the Zero you have to buy the slightly more expensive replacement pods every time a coil needs replaced.)

The Z-Biip has a larger internal battery though, so it is a bit larger than the key chain size zero..

I purchased the Geek Vape Aegis Boost a few weeks back. This is probably the 20th vape device that has stopped working on me. The micro usb port no longer takes a charge and I was gentle with it when charging it. I'm going to stick to vapes that use usb c charging from now on.
if it's only a few weeks, you should contact geekvape as it should still be under warranty.

though I still think that if this is an on going issue, then something is wrong...something is killing the batteries, either the way you are charging them, or the way you are using them, or juice leaking into them, or leaving them out in a car, or something....
ok one or two dudes but 20....something's off....
I mean every company has a dud, I bought an asmodus spruzza and well it was a dud, now it's just a fancy paperweight, so even the better rated companies have issues sometimes....but smok unfortunately is more known for having issues...hopefully yours isn't one of them.

I'd say check the cord you are using to charge with that it isn't frayed or something...check the plug you are using...like where I live these are old buildings so everything is on surge protectors.
Make sure that the atty you use isn't leaking so juice isn't getting down inside the 510 and the mod.
Make sure not to leave the mod in a car or somewhere that the temps can get to extreme hot or cold.
Make sure that the atty and the ohm of the coil that you use isn't over taxing the battery as well as not using the max watt of the mod to over tax the battery.
Just some suggestions to try and help since this seems to be an ongoing issue with various mods.

Since you have been informed of Smok’s rep. I’ll say this. Smok’s devices seem to brick fairly quickly when they do but the ones that last seem ok so you should know soon enough. If the former happens try Vaporesso, Smoant, Innokin, or Voopoo for a new device. They are all pretty solid choices for me throughout the years, seem to have decent QC and last awhile.

Vape devices with built in batteries are play and toss. I would go with something that charges externally, still I've only had one store bought regulated device last my torcher test it's a Dicodes mini 21700. I prefer to roll with a unregulated squonker with an RDA, have one that's near 9 years old still vapes like the day I bought it..

The voopoo drag x is a great little pod/mod, single 18650 battery.

Nothing to add (about Smok, internal vs removeable battery, ect) Personally, I love my Innokin Kroma Z (big internal battery, replaceable pods that connect with magnets, fairly large juice capacity and USB C charging. And it's comfortable to hold, doesn't leak (at least at home... don't carry it around) and very lightweight. It takes all the Z coils (many to choose from) Thinking of getting another one. Maybe get a better USB charger... they don't cost much.
