I am about ready to try a shipment from healthcabin.net and i was just wondering if any Canadians had yet purchased from them. I assume I would be on the same boat as the rest of the orders from China, I just was looking for a warm fuzzy feeling if someone had success!!

No more illegal than where you got it from. The rules are the same my friend, whether you purchase it in Canada, USA, or from overseas.
How is that illegal ?? There is no BAN on anything ecig related specifically in Canada.
There is a consumer advisory, yes, and a notification for sellers to conform to normal business practices of marketing a product, and in this case a "NEW" product, that requires registration and approval to do so.
At this time, there are no governing restrictions on these products to the general consumer, regardless of where they are purchasing from. Only, as I've mentioned, an advisory by Health Canada to acknowledge that the product is not approved as marketable by the letter of their mandate.

This is exactly how I understand it. It's not banned, but they aren't "allowing" it to be sold in Canada. That is enough to deter most consumers, but the more industrious among us find it to be little more than an annoyance.
As for Health Cabin, their prices seem great. Amy, the girl who seems to do most of the work, it great to deal with. Of course, I haven't actually received anything yet, so we'll see what happens.
