Any Modders live on the west side?

I am hoping someone lives on the west side that might be able to help with my mod. I have tried soldering it. The wires are so tiny. I was never very good at soldering larger wire.

I would be very grateful for any help or advise.

here's is a pic of it so far;

The pipe body is an Aristocobb I got off ebay for $20 shipped. I want to power it with a cr2 battery. Hoping that will give me 4 hrs or more on a charge. It will use 901 atty and cart.

Hey John,
Talked to someone about your solder troubles. They said that this stuff works miracles, and takes all the hard work out of soldering little wires:
DealExtreme: $3.57 LodeStar Soldering Paste (50g)

Just takes a hit of heat, and wah lah a solder joint. LMK if you try it.

WOW, I got some soldering done8-o.

I was a little leery of the battery operated soldering iron. But now I am totally sold...............

How ever, it still don't work. I actually got the LEDs wired into it. When I make contact on the battery. The lights say I have a dead battery.
