The e-juice seems to make all the ones I`ve used look pretty bad after a week or two. Come off, some turn sticky get on my fingers. Like paint remover...I always end up scraping the paint off at some point as it looks better than if I leave it all....yecky.
Any one found an e-cig that the paint does not look like *** after a few uses.

Most of my PVs are machined aluminum. A couple of them are powder coated machined aluminum. One is copper and brass - and the remaining are plastic project boxes. None of them have been susceptible to juices damaging their finishes.
All of mine are either aluminum or stainless steel, that way there's no paint or coating to come off.
I have the same problem. I love cinnamon nicquids but it ruins the finish on all my pretty colored atty's. The best way to avoid this is to order everything in stainless.there is no paint to chip and peel on them. 
I thought i would avoid this when i got my joy ego in stainless, but it turns out joye puts a clear coat on their stainless egos that starts to come off, however chrome slb egos aka the kgo doesnt seem to have any clear coat but is a finger print magnet.
Yeah I bought some that were supposed to be Chrome but I got some stuff on 'em and washed 'em. Now they're darker silver. Not too bad, just not shiny and new looking anymore.
I've had several PVs and have yet to have a paint problem w/ eliquid.
Guess I just lucked up.

I don't vape cinnamon juice and my Joye attys are completely naked (they were wearing bikinis for a while), all the paint off in 2 months. I don't get juice on the outside, only soaked in hot water. Juice in the atty diluted in that water of course, but I don't think it was juice that stripped my attys.
It came off like it was just regular latex flat paint for interior walls. But no matter, now I have 2-tone pvs, fashionable.
One of my original eGo LiteCig batts now has that Dalmatian look. But most are holding up well considering my usage.
TBH, I could care less how they look as long as they keep producing. I'm a vaper, not a fashion aficionado!
Oh, BTW, if ya want to 'recover' or change colors of your batts/atties, get some heat shrink. That won't wash or wear off!!!
