I have a question about vaping. I’m an ex smoker and have been vaping for about 2+ years now. Started with the juul using the 50mg then switched to the 30mg for the past year.

I had a surgery about 9 days ago and decided I wanted to try and lower my nicotine intake to promote a better healing process. I bought a smok novo 3 and a 3mg e juice.

My question is, now over a week into using my lower nic juice, my face is super dry and I’m starting to get a rash on either side of my nose. The pg/vg ratio is the same as the juul and I also am using a tobacco flavored 3mg juice( although it is noticeably sweeter in taste).

Any thoughts on why the new juice could be causing this? Could it just be sensitivity to the new flavor? Anything will help. Thank you.

I think you're on the right track looking at the flavoring. Many of us have sensitivities to certain flavors, or have developed them over time. You might want to try using the same ratios in unflavored to see if if that clears it up. Good luck!

The rash may be completely unrelated to vaping. It could be the stress your body has endured from surgery, humidity level in your house, diet, any number of things.
While I'm on the flavoring side of the balance, there certainly is the possibility of this being completely unrelated to vaping. All the opinions given in this thread might matter, but do take them with a grain of salt.. And don't ask this Doctor for any diagnoses.
