I just don't think I can bring myself to do it...pay amounts like $31 for shipping of small orders of suns. Is there any way to avoid this? Connections in Sweden that will ship to US for cheaper? Anything....?

General is available in a lot of places today. You can check their store locator or hop into the what's under your lip thread and ask. There are two Michigan guys that might be able to head you in the right direction.
Thanks for the info! I have found General at a couple places, but I would really like to try some of the other stuff I've seen on the internet. If a large order is placed do the shipping rates stay proportionally high?
It's been over a year since I ordered, but I managed to get the cost per can around $3 at that time. Not sure if that would be possible today, I know that costs went up. Some of the sites had grab bags where you got whatever they sent you. I did a couple of those and got some nice stuff.
The shipping cost doesn't usually go up a lot as you add quantity. It's the initial 30+ that is hard to swallow. As far as cost per can goes it depends some on what you order. For the most part the stuff made by swedish match is more expensive and the stuff made by V2 is usually cheaper. If you order some of both it will help balance out the cost. I saw an email today that buysnus is running a special on some general products where if you by twenty then you get ten free.
