Well that's sort of a good point. People can be easily misled, regardless of what *side* they're on, and what truth they are being peddled.
A true individualist doesn't buy into any of it, regardless of what side they are coming from, precisely because their SOP is to think for themselves. That is good, and also why, even among some vapers, there is disagreement on a lot of stuff.
Reading Eric Hoffer's True Believer in the 60's kept me from ever becoming any sort of *true believer*.
IMHO it's good when a study or insight comes along that explodes our thinking/beliefs. It is the way all truth-seeking progresses, feels it's way thru the dark.
One thing I know for sure and that is that nobody has all The Truth (trademark sign). People who only believe that which advances their own political, social, or emotional viewpoint (believe only what they want to believe) are always at an extreme. And that is never a good place to be.
