Honestly I've never understood how anyone can go through 5+ml a day. The most I've been through was almost my whole Kayfun tank in a day. When I drip, if I'm home all day, I might go through up to 5ml, but that's me pretty much chain vaping all day(at least what I feel is all day) . I primarily drip now, around .4 -. 5 coils and still making a 30 ml last two and a half to three weeks.

I definitely noticed that when I switched from protanks to RDA's I was vaping too much. Hitting 18mg in a helios at 0.4Ω isn't very pleasant.

Now I drip at 12mg or 6mg, depending on my mood...

I also keep some plain 0-nic VG on hand for evenings when I feel like chain-clouding so I don't jack myself up on nic just so I can blow some vape...

I mostly vape 0 nic now, and don't vape much at all except first thing when I get up for maybe an hour, and then in the evenings I do usually chain vape for several hours. I have several tanks going at all times, which makes it more difficult to know how much I'm vaping, but I'm not worried about it....especially since it's mostly 0 nic.

I went through about two tanks on my Erlk yesterday and it got me to thinking that that's way more than I would have smoked.

I guess my question is: Does anyone wonder how much is too much?

I'm just looking for a bit of feedback here.

Vaping too much liquid is done daily by many people especially people who love and are addicted to dripping, I know I went too far before when I used 30+ ml a day, now I'm back down to 10-15ml a day.

Yea I've been contemplating whether instead of moving forwards in quitting my addiction to nic if I'm moving backwards....... I mean an ego satisfied my needs to quit smoking but I just felt like I had to have something stronger and better now I'm running a mech and rda and I blew thru 15 ml in 2 day....... 2 frickin days.at 6mg I feel like I'm getting 10x more nic then I was with my evod at 12mg.

Yes, I definitely feel there are some days where I vape too much. It has nothing to do with the cost since I DIY most of my liquid, I just don't want to cultivate the habit of chain vaping all day long. I never smoked that much, mostly just in the evenings to relax. Weekdays it's not an issue, since I can't vape in the office, weekends when I'm home most of the day is when it sneaks up on me. I'd rather keep my nic level a little higher, and vape less volume.

I use 6mg liquid and get through roughly 2-3ml a day, but when I drip it can be over 10ml a day, sometimes more. I don't think that's too much but sometimes my bank and my mrs disagree :glare:

I can usually tell if I'm vaping too much, because I get this awful thick congestion in my throat. So I back off for a little while, drink some water, maybe try to get rid of the junk in my throat. I also sometimes take that as a sign that I really ought to add a little water to my vape, so it'll stop causing that problem so bad.

But I think I generally vape probably about 5ml a day or so. It's hard to know, because my Kayfuns hold so much that I only have to top them off about every 2 or 3 days; I have two that I use daily, one for day and one for night (lower mg at night), plus I also have a good sized cartotank that I also use daily, and I don't have to top it off even that often.

I used to chain vape 12mg juice: ~9mL/day. Then, I decided to go back up in nic content and see how that goes. Recently I went back up the nic scale to 24mg and my vaping has dropped dramatically: rarely go over 3mL.

I have had a few people tell me that is the best way to get off the vape, instead of decreasing nic, go way up for a day then give it up completely. Maybe for me in a couple months after im satisfied I have blown the most huge cloud I am capable of.

I like to "pleasure vape". I enjoy the clouds I can make (not sub-ohming, just the normal vapor.) Since I started using a reg. mod and also a mech, that 'pleasure vaping' can at times create a nic sic feeling just using my nromal 12 mg juice. I have a special bottle of ZERO nic in my favorite flavor (chocolate) and I use that quite a bit during the day when I'm just vaping to have fun and relax, so I'm not over doing the nicotine.

However, that type of 'over doing it' isn't the same as someone who is just new at vaping having left analogs behind and need to vape more consistantly to avoid the cravings. IMO there is no TOO MUCH especially when using an ego type device like I did for a couple years. It's not impossible to get over-nic'ed with those either, but it is a little harder if you're not vaping too high of a mixture anyway.

If you are not experiencing any type of discomfort, headiness, nausea, etc, but just think it's too much because it seems like there is always a pv in your hand... NO it's not to much if it is keeping you off cigarettes.

I use to vape way to much. I was doing it all the time! I got really sick one day from chain vaping and decided to quit altogether... 5 days now, no cravings past the first day, I even sold all my gear.

I don't feel like it's "too much", but it's constant. Like many others on this thread have said, if I am coughing or feel jittery, I take a break. More importantly, (to me anyway), is that if I am busy or cant vape, I don't lose my .... and freak out. I don't feel addicted. I just really, really enjoy it. Still, it's like the 2014 version of Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Pryce (Mad Men) with all the all day work vapring in my office. Thank God for office doors.

I vape 10ml a day of 6mg e-liquid. I am not worried about the nicotine, after all nicotine is not very dangerous to my healt. But, what about the other ingredients in my vapor ?

So, I have been asking myself the same question as the op. I have not felt any symptoms, (yet) . Is chain vaping bad for my long term health ? If so, how bad is it ?

Like many here I enjoy vaping. I also use to enjoy chain smoking .

Is vaping an healthy habit ? Would I recommend vaping to my non-smoking grand children ?
