Question on the charger itself. Part that plugs into the wall light is red. The usb cord light is green. How do you know when its done charging?
the one light on the part that goes to the wall stays red....The green light is red while charging a battery then is green when battery is charged

I ordered a second ego kit from LF when they announced limited quatities available at $39.99. Shipping was fast and a heck of a deal. But my charger did the same thing, light on the charger stays green, and no charge.

So I took the battery off, and plugged it into the ego charger I already had, and it worked fine. As far as using it in my usb, I definitely want the wall charger to work.

I will have to send a PM>

Well like I said before the charger for the 180mah 510 will charge the Ego but its a pain because it takes 5-6 hours. If one has the 510 charger there is a small adapter that looks like an atty that screws into the usb charger cord, then the Ego/Tornado battery screws onto the adapter and it will fast charge in two hours.
I opted to get one when I got my Tornado battery and it has come in handy more than once. Got mine thru member firhill. Between that and the cell phone's wall plug I basically have a whole back up charging unit.
When it comes to e-cigs, as in almost anything else in life, it pays to have a back up spare.

Wasnt there an issue with the battery itself concerning faulty protection circuiting?

My supplier seemed to think it was bad batteries (since the chargers are fairly simple there's rarely problems with them I believe) I sent both batteries from my ego kit and the charger back though.

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd add my name to the list of those with a faulty e-go. I ordered a kit from Happy Vaper in Richmond Hill, Ontario about three weeks ago. The batteries were good to go immediately so I enjoyed them for a day or so and then when it came time to charge them I got the same thing - the light on the USB charger stays green and the batteries stay dead.

I sent the faulty charger back to Happy Vaper and just got the replacement charger today and it's doing the same thing! I thought I was going crazy until I checked this forum. So now I'm going to have to return the charger yet again. This is getting really frustrating. Luckily, I have some 510 mega's to keep me going during this crisis! :p

I've tried both batteries in the charger and neither will work. I think I should just return the entire kit and get a new one, I'm just afraid I'll get the new kit and it won't work either.

Maybe send to them the charger and both batterys so they can mess with it themselves and explain the issue as thouroughly as possible

Mine doesn't work that way. It stays green 100% of the time both wall charger and USB. Abe said mine might be charged before shipping. But that's 3 days ago. The unit does work after 6 hours on the charger. Will have to see how long it will last.
