What is it that's so great about the provari that people are willing to spend so much on what is effectively old technology? The power output realities are that they're equaled by many other manufacturers. Is jt just that it's a brand people like?

This is a long story, and I only started vaping AUG '13. The short version is, proven power at any given setting on a 'scope, every device, every review. US made from scratch. Real warranty by real people with a 0.05% warranty rate. First vape or last vape before the battery is out will be the same. 30 watts on many other PVs tastes like 20-25 watts on a ProVape. They make mods that you replace because you want to, not because they break. If you look under 'Specials' on their website you can (at times) get some real deals.

Ask most anyone (other than ProVape haters) and even if they don't own one, they will tell you good things about them.

All my broken glass? Onto either hardwood or tile floors? The Kabuki was on either my P3 or now on my Radius, never even a scratch on the PV. It hasn't fallen out of my hand (yet) since getting my Radius, just knocked over or off a table by me - the klutz

Thank you. I appreciate your taking the time to give me the back story on why people respect them and your personal experiences.

Oh and @Moxienator Rayburn indeed! I do like that drip tip. Do you fine
Does it enhances flavor? I once tried a long one but it killed vapor. Maybe good for planes and movie theatres!

And to explain again I'm really trying to keep up and proof read. If so,etching isn't gotten just quote or ask and I'll go fix it. I can't really help what's happening. It looks right to me when it goes out and even subsequently. Until it doesn't. Then I fix them.

I'm sorry about that but I don't want to sit around doing nothing until surgery cuz I get word jumble itis sometimes.

My boxer won't fire my kabuki for so,e reason. Period. Will not fire it. Shows it there but nothing happens. Never seen this before.

No - bash comments, not people. Shame on you. If you had been reading he's post-surgery, and has many health issues. some of his posts are clearly written, and some are not (am think speech-to-text with no checking). I do not agree with many of his thoughts at all, but we all gotta learn - But I don't bash people, and do not care to read it either.

Well, to be fair, I'm vaping some Halo juice in it right now, which is high PG. I just don't feel the coil holds up with thicker blends. The high PG doesn't really "chuck the vapor" so to speak, so I couldn't say if the DT kills it or not. It seemed about the same with the original tip. The flavor though, is definitely improved for me. This one just doesn't need a wide bore in my opinion.

You know what? I don't believe there is trolling going on, based on recent activity.
He's not a troll. He has thoughts that I do not agree with, but he IS asking real questions.

Ask people that know me, some of my posts have been that bad. Health issues can create problems. It's easy to say come back when you're doing better, but sometimes a place like this is the only way some can converse with other people. Cut the guy some slack. Folks accuse him of not reading the entire thread (which is very long), yet he explained his issues just a few pages back and folks treat him like ka-ka

To save the search (I also understand the memory issues) - Zen has stated that tank size, airflow, and coil are all parts to the flavor puzzle, and he found that by adding to the tank size (even a little) it lowered the flavor. What you get is the best combo of flavor he could produce with the given coil. Add more airflow, lose flavor. And more MLs to the tank, lose more flavor.

These are my words based on what I read, so if I stated any of it wrong, I am sorry - my memory issues come from all the meds that I take.

I think you have this correct from what I recall as well, Peter.

And Phil is great to watch, but... he's not an "engineer" in the sense that he's not an EE... Not sure what his observations will do for you. Maybe he drives a train... That's an engineer too, right?

So there you go.

CHOO CHOO! I love me some trains!

Uncalled for!!!

I agree, Turfy. There is no need for that sort of response. h00ligan appears to be doing the best he/she can.

I do wish I could understand you a bit more, h00ligan. I miss much of what you mean.

Yah I'm all for small bore. Some of the flat drip tips can make great flavor.

Like these.

It is. And it reads on three other devices. The op boxer is in power mode not joules. I press fire. Nothing happens. Set to 13 watts. No temp control on. It's weird. Never seen this before.

... bad coil? If its screwed down, registering on the device, and in all other ways normal except it won't fire, maybe try another coil? I get bad ones sometimes. I feel it's just the price of using them. I'm officially stumped. Anyone else care to chime in?

Thank You peter and moxie. And I think the issue is the weird Allen 510 pin. I've tried various lengths but I think it has something to do with that if I'm guessing. I may have to google kabuki and boxer problems. See if anyone else experienced it.

So in the discussion of smooth. M
One of the things I really like about temp control is how smooth valid is compared to kanthan coils on isticks etc. I find it allows me to maintain a very very uniform vape. That said I also feel it's mostly not ready for prime time. I feel the dna200 chip is overly sensitive for the atomizers on the market today. Over 2/3 I tried didn't work properly die to the connection not being strong enough. I halfway think they should have demanded their own connection and had people put out new versions of atomizers for it. To some sure everything was smooth. To that end I guess that would be a real benefit of provari. They have their own connector type(s) right? So if I got a provari could I convert my kabuki to fit it or would it be better to sell on and buy one already packaged for it ?

Also what's the smallest good provari to run small atomizers on.

I just walked out side looking for a cigarette to smoke. It's been four - five months since I've been off fully. Vaping for closer to two years and I got so ...... off at my brain and hands not working properly t made me want to smoke. So I get my posts can be frustrating. Living with it is worse. And I can't wait for them to cut me open a few more times and get fixed

I'm sorry to frustrate some members here i really am just trying to get info not troll or annoy.

So after a day I took out the Vaporwerx coil. I just felt I was wasting juice. I swapped it for one of the original aspires, but before I did, I replaced the aspire's o-ring with the vaporwerk red one. They seem to get a better seal on the base.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. Maybe it is just the device's 510 depth?

I type slow. I have good days and bad. This is why most people find that I am late to the party, and reply many posts later. I have many health issues. 90% of my interaction with people is on forums. None of this is anyone's problem but mine.

It's great that most folks can read and type accurately and quickly. I can type with four fingers and one thumb. After I write a post, I try to reread it and correct any mistakes I see. But I do miss a few here and there. The difference is that in the time it takes me to write one reply, 14 other people have posted.

h00ligan is trying to read and type and keep up. Perhaps he shouldn't, perhaps he is excited, and perhaps he is trying to lean. Bashing him will only chase him away with a bad taste in his mouth about this fine forum, and, perhaps about ProVape, HoH, Zen, etc... Which is very sad.

No one here is required to reply to his posts, or agree with them. If you don't want to help, move on to the next post - but to tell him it's already been discussed and to read up is poor taste in my book, as well as unfriendly.

Some folk need to learn manners, some folk have manner and choose not to use them. I'd make a lousy Moderator as I'd ban people left and right. Posting here is a privilege, not a right. Thanks to a few posters here, I am in a bad mood, most won't care in the slightest, but I am done for a while.

I'll try to isolate and not keep up anymore from this point on. Also the loss of function is new to me, like a mom or six weeks. And temporary. I haven't really adjusted at all I hammer away. Give it a look over. Seems fine. Post. Twenty minutes later realize I typed garbage. I will work on slowing down and really proof reading. I am excited about it all.
