So.... ummmm... remember when I kinda said an adapter to put P3 attys on 510 mods was a silly idea?

I'm vaping on a prototype of a P3 atty to 510 mod converter that I designed last week. yep adds a little height, but... solves the issue... look for it to be for sale in about a month. I also designed a P3 atty to Z2 adapter as well... same time frame... ONE P3 Kabuki will fit ANYTHING ;)
That sounds fantastic - how much height does it add?

Yes... AND... the higher the resistance, the more efficient your setup will be. Less power is wasted in the connections. With regulated it is ALWAYS better to go higher than lower, because you can. It always confuses me when people feel lower resistance is better, it is considerably less efficient, and wastes battery power.
This! :)

I must mention a very kind ECF member that took the time and skills to make me two plastic tank setups~! One for a spare, and O-rings to go with them~! (due to my bad hands, there was no way I could do this for myself, and to date, I have broken five glass tanks) I am such a klutz!

I have the metal tank (again, thanks to another kind ECF member), but I tend to worry if I can't see my juice level. This is just perfect!! You can't even tell that it's not glass by looking at it either.

Also thanks to Stanley for bringing it up and listing various parts, links, prices :)
That's wonderful! So glad you were helped out! Mines still working great too and I've dropped it a few times - haha. :)

Hi Guys :)

Ive had my Kabuki 510 for just under a week now but LUVED it SO much that Ive dropped all my other setups (I usually have 4-5 going at the same time) and have just been using the Kabuki+P3 non stop .....

Been liking it so much that I already ordered a second kabuki which should be arriving any day now and had decided to slowly replace most of my flavor-set ups with Provaris + Kabuki's instead of Mini nautilus'..

= problem though :( :( :( ......

I took it off and refilled (still using the mini wrench...) for the 100th time last night and when i screwed it on again it didnt fire...?

I looked at my P3 screen and saw PO ....

uh-oh.....

I tried it on an IsTick and same thing, got the dreaded "No atomizer" message....

Im totally UN-handy but tried nevertheless to fiddle around with the littlest wrench to make the 510 pin stick out a bit more...or a bit less....but didnt get anywhere.

Didnt have any particular accident before this happened, though I have knocked it over in its stand onto the table a few times .

I dont take it outside of my living room(keep the isticks etc for outside) but I have a cat that loves to slalom around between my mods on my living room table !!!
I do keep them in stands but a provari in a stand with a kabuki (or a Mini -N!) on top is pretty easy for a cat to knock over if she wants to ...she likes to head-.... them too ;) ......Anyway,It always picked up right away with no probs..

Ive written to the store that I bought it from (Creme de Vape UK) ,explaining the issue to them , am awaiting a reply (Im sure one will come soon, theyre very good & efficient) but I thought id ask here if anyone else ever had this issue and if they did how did they fix it ?

any Tips,ideas ?

Thank God I have a second one already on the way (from Creme de vape)that should be getting here before the WE (but then again with the PO who knows.....?)

Meanwhile....Any help appreciated ;) !

Check the 510 pin on the Kabuki... is it there? And is it shoved below the surface of the delrin?

Im sorry...I dont really even know what a 510 pin is SUPPOSED to look like .

tried to take a pic but it's not possible because of the intense reflection..will have to wait till I have some daylight...

There's a black ring and inside the black ring theres a metal circle that the little wrench fits into perfectly...thats what i see....?

sorry im such a dunce with all this.. ..thanks so much for your help

turning the little wrench makes the metal inner circle go in and out either + or - ... so I suppose that's the 510 pin ?

ok, Ive checked what its supposed to look like on utube vids, yes, that is the pin and it is there... and isnt shoved below....but still reads OP on my P3 even if i use the little wrench to make it stick it more.....

PS=the prob isnt with the P3, I have two of them and it's the same on both..same on my isticks too :(

TG I have another one coming in the mail !!!!!!

It's ok, you're not a dunce...

So lets do this...

Looking from the bottom, loosen the screw into which the little wrench fits... (the 510 pin is that little screw)
With your tank apart, remove the coil...
Look down in there for little bits of junk that might be loose
If there are little bits of say, black delrin that don't belong there, dislodge them
Put a NEW coil back in, and even if the coil you just removed IS new, put in a different one anyway.
FIRMLY seat the coil...
Now, back to the bottom...
PUSH IN on the black delrin insulator
tighten the 510 pin until it JUST touches the coil... do NOT over tighten
Put the Kabuki on a PV and try to fire it.

Just a subtle (and unsolicited) reminder that there is more than one way to house & dress a Kabuki.

There aren't any "bad" ways...

The adapter will surely be nice, and is much appreciated, Zen. IF, however, you ever felt the urge to create some more straight 510 options, I know some people who'd be interested.

MaybepossiblyIthink.

These last 3 weeks exclusively using the Kabuki has taught me that the KF4 really is a juice hog like everyone says... I would go through like 5ml a day with the KF4 but can almost make one Kabuki tank last me 24 hrs. Same juice/etc.

Kabuki 2.0 Zen?

I can not speak for the other great folks running around this forum, but I would pay a premium price for a Kabuki that maintained the performance I have come to love AND had a 5 ml 316lL SS tank with crystal or polycarbonate juice view port. Add the options of Zencote and or engraving and I would have no hesitation in opening the wallet wide with a "Sky's the Limit" attitude. And failing that, does HoH do one-off's that might meet the above criteria?
