Treat your coil like a woman.

Once again, Chapter 22 in my new book, Life Lessons Via vaping.
My coils can't take anything near that much abuse.

I found priming the coil just led to flooding, so I don't bother anymore, just fill a tank and let it sit for 15 minutes, and this is with max VG juice and the 1.8 coils. No dry hits. It's weird that I don't have any problems when others do. Go figure . . . .
I don't have to worry much about dry hits with my thinner high pg juice, but I do only lightly start the wicking with a few drops since I have this theory it's best to dry puff the juice in the tank to fully saturate the wick thus establishing a vacuum in the tank as the juice wicks in, which helps prevent gurgling on my nautilus mini's especially in the heat of summer. I may just have exceeded the socially acceptable word count for one sentence.

Ok, thanks for answering. To each his own, my friend, to each his own... I'm stuck in the 80's and it :censored:ing rocks!

I'm stuck more or less in what I call "The Beatle Years." That roughly translates into when I bought my first LP--Meet The Beatles--and when I was graduated from high school in 1973.
I believe the P3 Nautilus has been discontinued, so; you will have to hunt around.

Aspire Nautilus P3 Tank

Provari P3 Threaded Aspire Nautilus

Thank you for the links. As things turn out, a very nice man from this group is PIFing me one.

what, what?? You break in your coils using low wattage? I just put some drops on the side intakes, one in the center and let it sit for 5 minutes...and then proceed to hit it straight away with my shockingly high 14w :headbang:......no issues in taste or anything else....I use the 1.8 coils.
I do the same, except at 12 watts & no drop in the center, just the side holes. :)

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the Nautilus P3? I need one more and cannot find one anywhere except a ProVape dealer is South Africa, to whom I've written. I hope to hear from them tomorrow. Assuming the price and postage is not outrageous, I'll buy. But if there are other dealers out there, I'd sure like to know. Thanks.
Juma55,

I believe my local B&M still has a few P3 Nautilus tanks in stock (they had a couple the last time I checked). Unfortunately I don't see them on their website probably because they have been discontinued. I'll go by there today and verify that if you want?

ETA: Just saw your post above. I can still check if you want, but sounds like you are golden.

Of COURSE I can make those... How many would you like... about $120.00 ea.

I'd pay 120.00 bucks in a heart beat for one of your SS tanks engraved as below. And then add the option of an Obsidian ZenKote....would be a thing of beauty.

I just put in a new coil, check it connected and fill 'er up. Then I let it sit & soak. Never had any problems either

That would actually be a whole lot cheaper than $120. Probably half that price. Obsidian ZenKote™ would probably not happen, but Gun Metal could.

Yeah, I didn't learn my lesson after the first branch!!!

LOLz, Jim

PS Gunmetal works for me!

Gee, thank you for the kind offer, but I think I'm good.

I have finally taken the plunge and ordered a Stealth P-3 Kabuki from ProVape. Now can anyone give me a link to where to get the best deal on the coils. I'm not even positive which coils the Kabuki takes. I think it is the Nautilus BVC. Please correct me if I am wrong. I normally vape Boba's Bounty and I'm a little concerned about how long the coils will last. Boba's is a real coil gunker. Thx

You won't regret it, it's a great tank!

cheapest I have found are on fasttech:
these:

$8.21 Authentic Aspire Nautilus Mini BVC Clearomizer Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

or these:

$8.21 Authentic Aspire Nautilus Mini BVC Clearomizer Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.6ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

code XMAS gives 10% extra off.
Only issue: you can't pay for them with Paypal or CC, you have to get gift certificates to pay with, either by buying something else and canceling, or by ordering them through their mobile site:

I did also order some fake clone coils from them, just for giggles.:w00t:

$4.10 BVC Replacement Coil Head for Nautilus (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I'll let you know how they perform once they get here, but don't have high hopes :D.

Thank you Zen~! Many of us need this, I too would 'prefer' glass, but find it too fragile...

SO... Zen~ has insisted on the following disclaimer, to be posted here, without alteration, his words... not ours...

"These Poly Tanks scratch easily. I didn't want to make them, they made me do it, but I positively guarantee that every last one of these is scratched, and I'm not apologizing because I didn't want to make them in the first place."
