I have 2 Kabukis, about to get a third maybe...much more consistent vape than I have had with any subtank. And ZERO leaks! The base is a bit harder to screw back on, but I can live with that as long as I'm not breaking anything :)

The price is higher, to be sure, but when I think of the various $30 subtanks I have thrown away...

Now I just need to find an awesome deal on bulk bvc coils.

9.50 a pack if you get over 3 and free shipping
NAUTILUS COILS NAUTILUS BVC COILS MINI NAUTILUS BVC COILL

And the best consistent price

Aspire Nautilus BVC Coils Organic Cotton

Welcome to club kabuki! :)

Rip Trippers posted a pretty good vid about re-building these coils. I gave it a try with the re-no res wires I have on hand and frankly, the factory coils were better than my poor attempt at a build. I didn't want to try strait wire considering the rubber insulator and possibility of the legs cooking it. These coils last for enough time that for me it's worth the price, and I do break them down and save the res- no res wires from my spent coils for rebuilding other coil shells (PT2) .
Thanks, I'll look for the vid. I mainly asked in case the nannies get control and I need to feed my soon-to-arrive Kabuki/Radius combo without buying off the shelf coils. Hopefully no need.

Have I said how much I love my Kabuki's lately? ;)

VERY nice, tyleris.

Awesome! I will check those places out for sure for the smoked glass. I think it would just look damn sexy all blacked out on the Stealth.

Ok, it's certainly not a Kabook or a Provi, but I adored my short stint with the black on black. Sadly the cheap FT tanks do chip....... much like @Zen~ 's poly tanks. ;)

Look at them. Much like nail polisth, they chip. It was fun while it lasted.

I absolutely LOVE what you do with your tanks to dress them up and make them look so elegant and beautiful Kat! Feel free to PM me your secrets because I'd love to know how to make my tanks as glamorous as yours. :)

Step 1: you have to be krazed and odd.

And the vape was horrible in the one I managed to get wicking...just totally not worth my sanity.

I like my semi-sanity. I like blister packs and I canna lie.

My no design black phrosty Phiniac tube — eliquid line is visible :)

Totally discouraged and bummed it isn't working for me,

Yes, I tried twisting backwards until it snapped in and also just pushing it in until it snapped and then threading it, the base has met up with the glass, yes, but it continues to spin indefinately and I can just pull the glass off the base without unthreading it, it's like it isn't catching on to anything and completing the threading sequence, do you know what i mean? So hard to explain. I've been banging my head on my coffee table for the last 5 hours trying screw the mother ....er together but it's no dice. Unless the glass just sits over the o ring and is friction fit and spins forever i have a ....ed up tank.
Tried a new coil, worked fine. Guess I messed up the threads on the one that came installed. I feel like a knob. LOL Oh well, crisis averted.
1 new coil = crisis averted.
I just wanna know how the coffee tabled fared after you banged your head on it for 5 hrs? ;)

No difference in draw that I can tell - I prefer a restrictive lung hit, which the Kabuki provides easily. As for preferences, I like the P3 Kabuki as all of my provari have the P3 top cap. If I am using a different mod, then the 510 is my Kabuki of choice (haven't found another mod that uses the P3 connector :)). I did find the o-rings on the MBV 510 were not as tight as the P3 Kabuki - nothing that caused leaks or anything, but definitely something I had to be careful with when refilling the tank. Once I replaced the o-rings, I do not have that issue.

With that being said, I also use a number of flavor RTAs in rotation, which I enjoy very much. The Kabuki is great for when I'm out and about and unable to rebuild easily. I also tend to carry it as a backup just in case something happens to the build of one of my other RTAs.
Sorry if this has been answered already, but I'm curious. How is the Kabuki flavor when compared to your other "flavor" RTAs?

I'm waiting on a Stealth P3, and the matching Kabuki looks interesting, but I'd like to know if I'm going to have a drop off in flavor because I rotate Kayfuns , Erlkonigins, and a Gem at the moment.

I think the flavor on the Kabuki is really good. I've got two and a large backup of coils. It is my favorite drop in coil tank and I have quite a few. Saying that, my favorite flavor device is still the Authentic Kayfun 4. If you have nailed your builds, the RTA's still seem to outperform the Kabuki. But if your build is off the Kabuki wins, It just comes down to how much you want to fiddle. You won't be disappointed with a Kabuki. The overall quality is super.

A while back someone posted a pic of their Kabuki with purple o rings, but I can't find that post. Does anyone have any idea where to get them? I need a bit more purple in my life. :)

They look to me like the IB tanked ones. As I recall, the 19mm ones have worked well on the Kabuki for some.

Not really that impressed with the Kabuki thus far, out of 2 packs of coils 7 of them haven't worked. Half won't thread into the base and the others end up getting stuck in the chimney and spin for days and get wrecked coming out with pliers. So I guess I should say I'm not impressed with the coils and well the Kabuki is nice to look at, without coils that work it's a pretty useless tank.

Wow, that sucks! Best be calling them, get it figured out. Once you do, bet you can't buy just one...

Maybe a bad batch of coils? I guess you could have it checked out to see if anything is wrong with it. I'm thinking it's the coil thingy. Others have had the same issue even with the Nautilus tanks. I've been more than happy with the Kabuki. I'm only on my third coil and they all worked so no problems. The flavor to me is beyond amazing.

Hi Guys :)

First id like to thank the person (sorry -dont remember who it was ...) who gave me the link to where I could find the Raspberry Gloss P3 in Europe! (Creme de Vape UK)

I received it yesterday and I love it,it's so beautiful !but then again I fell in luv with it as soon as I saw the pic posted in this thread about 2 weeks ago!

Next- I also received my steel replacement tank for my Kabuki .
The problem is, it 's making my juice taste funny/nasty .I filled it with one of my ADV's, a high vg vanilla-custard and it tastes horrible!
Thought it would go away after a few puffs but it hasnt so far...I havent managed to get even half way through the tank though..Should I force myself to persist? It would really be like downing medicine but....Will it eventually go away if I manage to get thru this first tank?

Or should I try washing it out with something particular ?
....put it thru the ultra-sonic cleaner ?

It has sUCH a nasty taste but I really NEED to use it, another one of my glass tanks broke and I probably wont be getting my next vape-mail from CDV in time for the WE...
(another Kabuki 510 + several glass replacement tanks on the way...Gotta keep 5 setups going ;)...cant wait till they get in those plastic tanks, am fed up with these glass ones, very hard to keep enough replacements in stock at home when you have a cat !)

So if anyone has a suggestion for how to remove the nasty taste on this SS tank ?Id appreciate it ! :)
