At some point, the thing has to transition down to the glass diameter. So making it wider at the base then having the glass look undersized just looks... well... for lack of a better term... crappy. So, it's not going to happen.
Couldn't you increase the glass diameter? Probably a lot of work to redesign the whole thing to fix a little tiny gap, but why wasn't it just originally done to specs? The P3 Kabuki was designed for the P3 I mean, right?

I just read what I wrote and it somehow made sense in my mind the first time.

Oh, the fat glass. All i meant was to taper the base from its orignal glass diameter, up to the round P3 connector diameter. A bit of a cone shape. Then it would fit every P3 equipped device out there perfectly. Look how the kayfun 4 does it with a 22mm 510 base and a 23mm P3 sized base. Both bases came with my Kayfuns from ProVape.

Stunning work @Zen~ ! My Merry Christmas to me!!

That tank looks so good! I am going to try to give myself exactly the same present in the New Year - once I've recovered from Christmas spending (& found out if it's possible to get one to the UK!)

HoH doesnt ship intl. unfortunately... :( Ive wanted a lot of stuff from there that i was unable to buy because of this rule (like the zenkote one to go with my zenkote P3)

Maybe these beautiful looking tanks are available somewhere else that DOES ship to Europe ...?

I think its probably too "specialized" for Euro stores like CDV to order in...?

Anyone have info ?

I seem to recall one of the UK stores having Kabuki O rings on their sight within a couple of weeks of people asking for them to get them in. So, it could be very fruitful to simply ask your known HOH resellers, to get in the products you want.

That gunmetal Kabuki and flourish engraved steel tube is stunning and packaged nicely with all the extras one would need. I'm thinking it will either be a lovely LTD run or a successful addition to the line available to HOH resellers. I'm leaning toward the 2nd option, especially since it certainly appears like the beta marketing test run at HOH has been a success.

Creme de Vape UK is a really GREAT store very efficient, pleasant and helpful, they write back right away too..

Anyway they have a lot of Kabuki stuff, more than most places, they have the little kits with the o-rings and spare little screws, the colored O ring packs, the SS & glass tanks. However they dont have the new plastic tanks and I did write to them when they first came out on the HoH site to ask about them .CDV told me they had them on order...

BUT havent seen them there yet.I check all the time .NOW theyre even out of the SS ones. Those glass tanks are driving me crazy... I must have broken 7-8 of them already in the past month . My last one broke last night even though I had THREE vape bands practically covering the whole surface!!!!

Anyway,Thanks for your suggestion and I will try to write to CDV & enquire about it...

I love my Zenkote so much -it's my fave of all my P3's- and that tank would just look so great with it!
Its kind of a specialized item though, not sure if CDV would have enough customers for it to be viable for them ?Then again, who knows, maybe they can order just 1 ;) ????

Whoa you broke 7-8 glasses? I've been using them exclusivy for the last few months and never broke any off them...(knock on wood) :)

I did order some spare glasses from FT for the clones...will check if they fit the Original....

CDV is a nice store, unfortunatly the pound to euro conversion is pretty bad at the moment...wish Zen had a supplier which dealt in euro's :( Paid $130 for my Kabuki's due to this (still worth it though :). I could use another SS tank...but not paying $30 (incl. shipping) for it. I also asked them about the plastic tanks a while ago, they were unaware off them, but they said they'll look into it.

Zen, customer service ** I placed an order over the weekend and, in my aged condition, made a mistake. I sent an email to HOH telling them of the mistake and asking if it could be corrected. Monday I received a return email from Stacie cheerfully telling me that the order would be fixed at shipping.
Many thanks to Stacie and HOH.

Yes, I have that prob too.... I too have to pay 130 $ for one kabuki + shipping.... and have bought 5 Kabuki s plus countless spare glass tanks since I discovered the Kabuki last month.... ... the £ is terrible right now and buying anything in the UK is terribly expensive for anyone paying in euros,I try to avoid as much as possible but.... couldnt find any kabuki's locally (which is odd as France has always been very well equipped vape wise, from the very start...)

AND yes....I was unlucky with my first tank on my very first kabuki that broke before even using it, while screwing it on for filling :(

BUT...THE OTHERS ...are mostly my cat's fault ;)

I have all the kabuki on P3's and set them in those cheap aluminum (quite heavy though...) chinese round stands on my coffee table which is very low but all wood (not IKEA composite either ;) !).That probably has a lot to do with it...

My cat tends to jump on the coffee table and walk back n forth all evening so as block our view of the TV ;) ....and she likes to rub up against the ecigs in their stands as she passes theml...THEN she also sometimes enjoys head-butting them ...This knocks them over onto the table .Guess thats enough.... ;) ??

I never let them fall to the ground, but my floor has wall to carpeting anyway ...

This problem only happens with my Kabuki's ...certainly because of the high quality glass it's made with.

Ive been vaping- chain-vaping - for almost 5 years and never broke any equipment except for one mini nautilus tank that rolled off my kitchen counter onto a stone floor-shouldnt have just put it down like that on the counter top-my fault!

Before replacing all my setups with kabuki's I kept 5 setups going at the same time and in that very same situation... on the same cocktail table...and with the same naughty cat ...usually equipped with Mini Nautilus' but I also have an Aromamizer tank, an Atlantis, a subtank Nano a couple GS Air's, an Aerotank, a mini Aerotank , a full size Nautilus...none ever broke!

Last week I finally ordered in two SS tanks from CDV..dont like SS at all...but breaking all these glass tanks leaves me stranded sometimes...gotta wait anywhere from 2 to 6 days to get vapemail from CDV & dont wanna be left without being able to use my Kabuki's :) !!

Today i just received another order of 3 spare glass tanks from CDV.
Im spending a ridiculous amount of $$$$ on Kabuki's and kabuki tanks ...
I only DO it because I so value a quality-great flavor-vape and havent found a better one yet!

But yes,the exchange rate for us EUROZONE vapers is just terrible vs the £ right now (and wont be getting better either as this is a new chosen EURO policy to increase exports). It will def get worse vs the USD too over the next year... :( so expect vaping expenses to go way up even more than they already have!

Anyway it's along story -sorry ;) - but now you can see why Im so desperate to get those plastic tanks !!!!

CDV told me over ten days ago that they HAD already ordered some......?

Theyre out of SS one 's now too :(....

IF FT comes up with something viable Ill def try it .I mean... Id rather use an original but if that's just not possible...?

I wonder if the high quality of the glass tank has any significant impact on the vaping-flavor quality and the "success" of the Kabuki (with those same old Nauti BVC coils ;) ) ?

In that case the poly-whatever-plastic and the SS tanks would probably have a negative impact too though ..wouldnt they ? ?

I'm sure you're not just looking for another reason to spend money, but the cat problem can be solved by these (or some other wide base stand, but this is the ProVape forum). Not sure if a single block would do it, but two or three assembled together should.

While I'm on the subject, I wish ProVape would add a new block for the Radius and maybe a thread length to be able to connect four or five blocks.

T for Texas!
clone is good
came with 2 o-rings and 2 510 pins
cant tell the diff between the 2
other then some very minor stuff.
but for $17 its great.

I saw it on focal for $6.87 and said what the heck. It's now set $19.54 so guess I pulled trigger at right time!

You know I WAS considering resorting to heftier stands and had seen those ages ago on the Provape website ...BUT up until now Ive been reluctant just because I dont really like the "style"..
BIG chunky wood blocks dont really go with my style of decor ...everything is blk white and glass in my living room ...the wood cocktail table is thick real wood but I had it stained black ;) ...!!!

Anyway, youre right, I may have to resort to something creative with this problem ... and since neither the cat nor the table are going way ...that leaves the "fix" of sturdier stands!

Thanx 4 the tip :)

If the ss tanks drive you batty the polycarb ones aren't bad at all. I had to switch 2 of mine over... I don't rven have cats to blame, and the dogs leave the vape stuff alone.. My clumsy hands are my proverbial cats
