There are a couple items to consider in the case of a shortage of Nautilus coils:
Bottom line - what will happen will happen, so relax, reasonably prep, and roll with whatever comes to pass.
- There may be a minor adjustment Zen could make on the existing Kabuki 510 tanks, to make the Triton Mini's work well. AFAIK the Triton Mini coils already work fine in the P3 based Kabukis.
- Zen currently prefers the Nautilus coils to the Triton Mini coils. It may be more accurate to say Zen prefers the second generation BVC Nautilus coils to the first generation Triton Mini's. There's a long history of coil format internals being tweaked to improve performance, and alterations to the Triton Mini coil might bring it up to snuff.
- Zen's focus is to provide alternatives to smokers, not to support cloud chasers. If for some reason there was a serious long term issue with Nautilus coil supply, I strongly suspect he would design a new tank around a new and common coil.
- The Triton / Atlantis format is very very common right now, used in a multitude of tank brands. I know it's not an ideal design for a Kabuki like tank, but if anyone could succeed designing a flavor tank with them to take the role of the Kabuki, Zen could.
Well if it is not an alternative for the afc (had no idea Zen hates those sliders LOL)...than maybe stealth (as in black) zenkoted 510 Buki'sI would jump on those

Gin, We have to live it all light heartedly...You have no idea how hard it is for me to not refer to you as a, "flag waving elitist." I would love to tease and kid around with you but know someone would take the whole thing seriously and have a problem with it.
Keep in mind guys zen is already working on a P3-510 adapter so the provape GMZ P3 kabukis are fair game for all now [emoji39]Well if it is not an alternative for the afc (had no idea Zen hates those sliders LOL)...than maybe stealth (as in black) zenkoted 510 Buki'sI would jump on those

Yes, very well put. There are a couple items to consider in the case of a shortage of Nautilus coils:

I read about these on Busardo's site (tasteyourjuice.com) last night.Any chance this has possibilities for us?Vaporesso cCell Ceramic Wick Replacement Coil
Matilda does...Even I must admit by being tempted by the Matilda (RM). No Radius and all.

Great link, thank you! How do those ceramic coils work in a Nautilus or Kabuki? I would love some feedback.MFS (myfreedomsmokes) has had sales for 40% off quite a few times over the months. You can order 2 packs of each kind (1.6 and 1.8) and the code will apply to all 4. There is a 2 pack per resistance maximum.
keep your eye here for their coupons - register for emails too!

Wow people seem to really think that we might be in truoble here... i definitely feel that there is a battle going on and who knows what will happen to us vapers but maybe i should stock up too...You freaking people are MAKING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!
I just now ordered 50 coils from Sweetvapes, and will do the same, once a month, until I feel that I have way too many of these things[emoji38]
[emoji14]ervy:
LOL!
Meanwhile, I sit here vaping a NET DIY in a ZAU attie on a V2 fluted body ProVari ROTFALMAO!!!!
THERE IS A PROVAPE SALE?!?! omg.As if my budget wasn't already screaming in pain, I see that Pro Vape is holding a weekend sale.
Other sites do 30% and 40% off sales, but it's news the few times when Pro Vape does 10%. When you make quality stuff, you can get away with that. And I honestly don't hold it against them as I already have loaded a basket.
A year ago you couldn't go anywhere around here and not see Nautilus(s) sold. And used. I used a Nautilus as did almost everyone I know. It was called a "game changer" and I'm one of the people who believe thats true.
Yet here we are. I rarely use my Nautilus and no one I know uses one either. I haven't seen one for sale in some time. I would gather some places may still sell the coils but most don't.
Threads upstairs are full of stories of favored vape gear they can't get parts for anymore.
Due to changing tastes and more importantly POSSIBLE law changes I think everyone should have a rebuild-able of some sort. Tanks in the tootle class are crazy easy to build on. Kayfun 4 clones can be had for 4 bucks these days. A lifetime of wire and cotton would be 10-15 bucks. Things like nail clipper and blue screwdrivers can handle the rest. My current favorite build is dual 28ga coils at .5Ω at 15w which would run nicely on a P3 or Radius. A new 2 penny coil every six months and fresh wicks every 3 days to a week. I can rewick a Kayfun faster then you can screw a new coil in and more importantly you all can to.
And doing one doesn't mean you can't do the other. 3 throwaway coils and 3 builder or whatever. You all should check out Roxy's tootle tank thread. 3 months ago most of the member were scared of every part of building and now them ladies are prolly some of the finest builders on ECF.
