Anybody Using A Kabuki?

Aspire is moving onto the Triton Mini.
The TM is vastly better then the Nautilus. BTW its can use Nautilus coils as well. And the Nautilus can use TM coils. I only have a Nautilus Mini and while the TM coils make it sing I never did like the Mini honestly. The full size was my baby.
So its important to note that I said it may be harder to get coils for the Kabuki. The Nautilus will be fine for years to come.

My understanding is the TMs will work in the Kabuki by removing 510 pin from Nauti coil and replacing in the TM.
Haven't tried it personally but this is what I have read from others.
Things are going to change when the deeming regulations are finally released, but no one can tell now how drastic they will be. I've been stocking things away for a couple years now, not because of any legislation, mainly because when I find something I like, they change it, or come out with something new...I'm sick of it I'll tell Ya!!! I also fear that if the deeming looks particularly bad, folks will go into a panic mode and buy up stuff like crazy. I just wanted to be ahead of the curve ball and not have to worry if these things play out badly for us vapers.
Thank GOD those used coils will come in handy then! I have a few zip lock bags full of old expired coils for various tanks - no way I was rebuilding the Aspire Nautilus coils - been there, done that - I'd rather have my tongue nailed to a table at breakfast every day.

Also, I live in an apartment I.e., limited freezer space for nicotine storage.
Also, I probably have enough income to invest in hardware OR nicotine but not sure about both. Have more space to store hardware than nicotine.
Have not started any diy coil building or juice making; still settling what flavor I like on what hardware I like.
I guess I could really be in a pickle here if the vapocalypse happens.
I'm wondering - do you think those in my boat could "buy in" on others' stashes or rent space in freezers?
I really don't want to be in a spot where I have to make panicked decisions out of anxiety. It's enough emotionally to stay off the analogs right now. Honestly I'm not totally excited abou the building coils/learning to wick prospect, bit I will do what I have to do if it comes down to it. Same with juice, except I will have no nicotine unless someone lets me buy in.

Yes, Im in the same situation as far as "space" goes, I too live in an apt,+ in a major city center where each sq ft counts....
However, I just recently took the plunge and bought a new fridge/freezer (no way could I have room for a separate freezer...) with ALOT more freezer capacity and it HAS really made a huge difference.By the way I did this specifically because of/for my vape-hoarding, though turns out its been a real plus food-wise as well !!!
Now I can actually keep a couple of legs of lamb, some steaks, a few chickens plus a nice stock of veggies, pizzas, whatever ...so nice not to have to go marketing every few days, such again of time...believe me..
Anyway, as far as vape gear goes, when it comes down to it one doesnt really need THAT much Fridge/freezer space unless one consumes very high nic levels and an awful lot of juice(Ive heard people say they consume over 30ml a day and more!) .
I thought I would need alot more room but when I finally sat down and calculated and organized my purchases...I discovered that i didnt really need that much space to stock diluted nic bases .
I vape between 0-3-6mg but I calculated for 6mg's NIC . I bought 100mg and 200mg NIC bases
if you have to make a choice you def should go for the NIC first.
Supplies such as 0mg PG or VG, flavorings, will continue to be available as there are many other uses..same goes for batteries and rebuildable equipment such as wire, cotton and so on.

but I have bought an original Kayfun, a dripper and some clones at FT.The FT clones are def affordable and alot of people swear theyre just as good as the originals....I would buy a few of those...I sure HOPE that it doesnt come to that but it's quite likely and Im pretty sure that learning rebuilding will become a necessity at some point.
Then buy a few Mods with removable batteries. I have several P3's and a Radius but just bought a Blem 2.5 Provari for 49$ at ProVape
Have also purchased some cheap box mods from FT- just make sure they have removable batts.
so ...to recap id advise to get the NIC first....Then a few rebuildable clone tanks from FT and afew Box mods from FT with removable batteries (or, even better, Blems/ sales from Provape if you can manage that financially)
Once you have all that I would just add on something ( another tank, another mod) every month as your financial situation allows.
But def hurry up and GET a good stock of NIC before the prices go up/or whatever!!!

...never know....Nic is at an all time low right now and sales are everywhere. Wouldn't hurt to grab some either way. The flavors will be as others have said - readily available.

Of course I did. Radius on the way but I'll have to wait through the holiday.
Life keeps getting more ironic. When the Radius was released I was convinced I'd never buy one since I only wanted TC mods going forward.
Then came Kabuki #1 and the realization that new tech didn't always mean better tech; and that in my rush to stay on top of the latest "improvements" I'd lost sight of my most enjoyable vaping style. Two of my SX Minis (by far the most superior temp limiting on the market) are now operating solely in power mode.
Look for quite a few quality TC mods to be going on the market as soon as I get around to taking photos. I bought a lot of them chasing that perfect vape but didn't get it until I went back to basics (and in the Kabuki's case, inspired design).
I e had my kabuki for a week it's beautifully made and does what everyone is saying. I do slightly prefer my kayfuns though. what I don't like is it goes through juice at least twice
as fast as my kayfuns. Ido like it and I'll find a use for it. maybe a situation where other tanks might leak . one thing I'm curious about is ,it's a p3 by the way, when unmounted and draw with the airflow covered it gets a lot of air from the bottom. is this normal? obtw , I gape at nine watts.

@GeekyGeezer hehe that's almost my exact story...went all out on TC, bought SX mini, DNA40 and several Dicodes devices (wich are btw superior to SX ).....found the Kabuki and Gobli Mini's and am now back to wattage vaping...all my sophisticated devices are purring away at 14w now LOL...
Still have 2 Dicodes Dani boxes on the way though, as they are high quality and thus long lasting (in the face of regulations to come) and you'll never know how my vape style may change, so it's better to have these options available, you might want them in the future..

Yes, It is normal, as that is how it is designed.
When mounted on a device with a P3 Connection that area is the sealed air intake.

So you know where I'm coming from when I say it would suck to spend all that cash on tanks that will become obsolete for no other reason than the coils drying up and disappearing...
I've just started saying it but it bears repeating, I'm going to pull a Enaud and buy a .... load of coils every paycheck as I'm starting to get skittish. Volume and frequency will increase, I'm sure, as the situation warrants.
I was somewhat surprised when I ran the idea past Jackie to spend $3,000 for a lifetime supply of coils and she replied that it would be kind of nice to never have to worry about buying another coil again. Buy in bulk, save 10% and you've whittled it down to $2,700 if you can afford to do it all at once.
Save all your used coils and if the situation gets dire enough, I've seen videos (Rip Tripper for one) whereas people are rebuilding BVC coils. If I'm going to do that, I might as well be a happier miserable with a K4.
Then there's the scenario where with the advancement of vaping technology, I will have wished I would have just taken it easy in the first place. Case in point, I have @ 1/2 dozen Nautilus tanks I no longer use with the release of the Kabuki. Then again, those only cost 1/3 of the Kabuki which, ironically, is why they aren't being used anymore (quality, or lack thereof).
I'm going to bed, I'm losing it...
