I cant post over there, and I am not going to register to another e-cig bash site. Here is my reply, you can quote it if you want to post over there.

I have switched. Will I go back? No way, even if the FDA cant get their head out of their rear end long enough to read how much better for you these e-cigarettes really are.

Please check out the study that has been done on e-cigarettes. Health of New Zealand has published findings. Major institutions have tested the e-cigarette. Their conclusion is that the e-cigarette is 100-1000 times safer than a normal cigarette.

Please take the time and head over to www.e-cigarette-forum.com and read the Health, Safety and e-smoking section. There you will find many links to where the liquid used in these devices have been tested.

For those that do not wish to goto the forum, please at the very least, goto Untitled Document and read the pdfs of the test results.

It's time the missinformation is stopped.

After reading a few comments on that site and others, it never ceases to amaze me that people who know absolutely zilch about a subject feel compelled to offer their advice.

My sentiments exactly.

I actually was going to post a response similar to Khandurian's but after I typed the thing in, it led me to a registration page. I, also like Khandurian, don't care to register there.

Gep went in and explained it all to them. She told them that there was not 100% nicotine in an E-cig. Right after her very long (and very good) post..a dufus named Big Big Cat comes on to say the only things that contain 100% nicotine are nicotrol and patches! Just shoot them ok?

Gep did a good post, the other person said that nicotine inhalers NRT's had 100% nicotine in them. I think I will go look that up.

Very sad, but you can't fix stupid. ! :D sometimes I wonder how those kinda folks made it to adulthood without being eaten by a lion or hit by a bus.

I just got the heck outta there, there was a banner on the top that said "click here Quick" because I was the 999,999th Visitor! That scared me. But Kreel, I was impressed, that should be sufficient. Right? I also decline to register, I am a little afraid of being woke up in the morning by a CNN mobile unit by my front door.

OMG....

Too funny, that's what I say in the middle of an "I want to pull my hair out" day.

"Just shoot me...."

For everyone who says that nicotine is harmless, I would not go so far as to say that. It does have serious impact on the cardiovascular system.

Ultimately, I do not believe that long term nicotine consumption can be 'harmless'.
However, I do think that long term nicotine consumption is much less dangerous than long term cigarette consumption. It might be more dangerous than twinkies, but everything has to be seen in perspective.
