Anyone else caught in the "in between"?

My wife just transitioned through the in-between phase about a week ago. It took her about a week after starting, which seems kind of fast to me; but she says that she hasn't wanted an analog for the past week, although when the urge to "smoke" hits her, she now naturally thinks of her Prodigy.

I always said if I could get past the 1 or 2 analogs in the am or if I wake up in the middle of the night I'd be a non smoker. I vape in my office all day on my Halo G6 and never even think about an analog most days, others I get to where vaping is just not cutting it and bum a smoke. I smoke it half way through I always say, "this is gross"

I even tried taking a vape or 2 before I light up and after to "trick" my brain into craving the vape. Its only been about 2 months but this G6 and their tobacco flavors (Torque/Tribeca) have me vaping more and more. I live with smokers so the option is always their making it easy to stumble. Hang in their, anything is still better than PAD of tar and cyanide.

So many great suggestions! I never used the pre filled carts. I have to say that my son helped me wade through the first of it all with suggestions and equipment loans and e juice....different flavours and nic content. I too, am looking for that clean menthol taste in my e juice. I've tried a couple that just didn't cut it at all and have just ordered 2 new one's to try.

I like the tricking the brain idea being as my brain is such a busy place anyway. One other comment that I forgot to put out here in regards to the nic content. A few years ago I had allergy testing done and the Allergist tested for nicotine allergy. I had quite the skin response and he told me I was showing a high allergy to nicotine...and then asked..."and you smoke?" with some surprise on his face. Perhaps this is why I'm having so much trouble with the higher nic content.

I'm just going to keep plugging away here....I am a stubborn person at the best of times. I want this to work for me and all of your support and suggestions have helped me feel not so weird after all.

I was down from 2 packs to 5 analogs a day when I ran out. It was decision time, I would try just vaping. It took a little willpower but it wasn't like trying to go cold turkey. Two weeks later I had a smoke and it was terrible! Just two short weeks! I smoked half a dozen in those first few months and can't understand how I did it for 38 years. Higher voltage helped too, for me anyway. I call it quitting without quitting. Keep at it and good luck.

Sounds like an anti smoking ploy to me. Nicotine is a skin irritant! He was being a big goofball! :p

I just upgraded from a stock 510 to a 3.7v device 4 days ago and it has been a big help. I have not yet gone a full day without a regular cigarette but here's hoping today will be the first one of many. I could not agree more with the "count the ones you don't have" idea. That is what has been helping me feel very positive about my situation. I am also vaping a lot to keep cigarettes off my mind. This might not be possible for everyone due to their job etc. but it seems to be working for me. I wish you luck.

If you're looking for a good menthol and are up to mixing your own, I can highly recommend this one: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/203187-smooth-menthol.html

Tastes just like a newport, without the smoke taste. :) Even confirmed it with a few Newport smoking friends who are a lot more likely to make the switch now. :) Kindof like sticking a fresh stick of doublemint gum in your mouth with every drag. :D I've been vaping this for 3 days now and it's very likely going to be my all day flavor from here out unless I find something way better.
