Never, my "give a dayum-o-meter" is running close to zero these days.

it is nice to see other places that lots of folks are vaping though...Ed's truck died last week and we had to get another..and there had to be more than six of their employees I saw vaping..they'd give us the "cheers" with their vapes when hustling by working.:toast:

Nope, I was born with idgaf syndrome, and I don't change the way I vape in public either. Don't get me wrong I am a respectful southern gentleman but if no ones in vape range I am happily adding clouds to the atmosphere. It's my public just as much as it is theirs and just because I vape doesn't give me any less reason to enjoy myself while I am out and about.

No, not at all. Who cares what strangers think as long as your pants are on in public.

me...

i'm not that self conscious.

only thing keeping my pants on in public are legal repercussions.

even then, sometimes i'm "in public" without pants. being a truck driver who doesn't sleep completely clothed, it's par for the course.

as far as e-cigs... i'm actually kinda proud of that.

Back when I first started it was so new that everyone looked at me like I was crazy, a lot of questions, it was almost a pain in the .... to vape because people wouldn't leave you alone. Now I stand outside of my office and I see people vaping all the time, and its almost common place. I work in Manhattan so its pretty big there with all the hipsters, which is a pain in a different way because they try to talk to me about my set-up...bearded freaks..lol

    ..the police..

I got pulled over last week and the trooper stated it was because I went over the white line of the road three times. It was too cold out for me to ask, "Isn't it really because I toked on my vaporizer as I passed you, and you had to pull out and follow me for almost 3 miles before I toked again and you had to come up with a reason to pull me over?" This would have probably started a conversation that would've probably lead to an argument, that most probably would've gotten me a new pair of bracelets.

I try to be a little situation consensus, and have a Jazzpipe for those times that levies wouldn't look quite right in the tuxedo crowd.

What the title says, I get this feeling when im vaping in public that people think Im smoking a {Other Stuff} for some reason.

    Not at All.

I'm not Self Conscious about Vaping in Public. I don't try and Hide it. But then again, I don't make a Big Deal about it either.

    I don't think I can get away with that:laugh:

Sure you can. Don't you think your pretty mods look strange to non vapers?
Of course they're going to stare at you like, what *is* that ?
That doesn't mean anybody is down on you it only means they're curious.
if you play things right you can take their being curious as an opportunity
to turn people on to vaping.

    Regards,
    Hazy :2cool:

I have never been embarrassed to vape in public, but like many of us there is a time and place. If the time/place doesn't seem fitting I simply wait a little bit.
Although I was at a comedy club with some friends the other night and my girlfriends boss took us because she had free tickets (awesome)

The bosses boyfriend was like "You know those are terrible for you" while he pulls on his stinkie! So I got my game face on and walked over and found out he was completely joking.. I showed him my iPV and he asked more about it, took a couple pulls, and asked where he could buy one like it.

Happy times bein an aggressive vaper!

Unless someone outright says something of that nature why would you presume that they are thinking that or something negative?

I would not be embarrassed doing something perfectly legal in public. Nor do I care what others think.

It's not my job to keep people 'safe' from observing and experiencing new things. I sort of enjoy the sound you get when someones conformity bubble is burst. I almost consider it doing them a favor. Not every day you get to see something that makes you go "???".

That does not mean I flaunt it in peoples faces. I consider myself a considerate vaper.

I got a couple strange looks vaping in front of the Appropriations Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly, but nobody said a word other than the cop at the metal detector, who simply asked what it was then said "if it helps you quit smoking, way to go". I'm always respectful about not blowing out clouds while I'm in a situation like this, but I also don't modify my behavior based on what someone might think. If someone asks me to stop because it bothers them I would, but I'd also explain what it was and what it isn't (smoking).

When I'm at a stop light sucking on a black box and blowing clouds out the window then I'm sure that some may think I'm smoking 'other stuff'. I don't do it if there's a cop around though for that reason, 'cause I don't want the hassle, and they'd also see then if they pulled me over that I wasn't wearing any pants.
    But embarrassed? No.
