I havn't had any issues driving and vaping. My wife works at the sheriffs office and I'm friendly with most of the officers and have converted two so far to vaping so it's not an issue for me, locally anyway. I don't try to hide it by any means, but I do try to be safe (ie: don't fill your cartotank while driving and so on.)

vape LOUD AND PROUD IMO

I'm a person who doesn't do drugs but have in my shaded past so I love to mess with people. My highest supervisor saw me out side of the shop vaping away and asked. "What is that?" I said it was a (OTHER ITEM) ya want some? I did tell him it was an E-cig and it's kept me of cigarettes for 5 weeks (at that time) He said good job. I vape any time any place if the LEO's stop me they'll be the ones looking silly when it's all said and done.

I work at the Airport DPS and LEO's are EVERYWHERE not one second glance at my set up. I get more questions from co workers that cops. I usually explain it the first time, and my normal team all calls it my(OTHER ITEM). I even got two coworkers into vaping, and I'm Planning on going into business with one to set up a vape store in Texas EEEEE!:D

I do see people looking at me funny, but don't feel nervous except the other day at a red light the were two cops by me and I decided I didn't want them to get the wrong idea and didn't vape at the red light.

I think if your not using a red, green, yellow colored battery, smoking full vaper 100% VG while smiling stupidly and singing along to your friend Marley on the radio you should be ok.

Poor officer, trying to enjoy his down time and getting picked on.
That's why some police have attitudes.

Anyway, I was asked once by a Border Patrol agent if my PV was a breathalizer. Lava Tube with a hand blown carto tank on it. I kinda looked at him silly and said, "Ever seen a custom hand blown breathalizer?" Then explained what it was, he ended up trying it much to the displeasure of the 30 other cars behind me. Had a nice little conversation in a 10 minute span. I always love having a chance to educate people about what it is I'm doing.

I recently went to NY from FLA and when we landed in philly, I had my PV out and puffed away. My wife was too worried about if it was ok, she went to the bathroom and vaped there. On the way back she aske a TSA agent if it was OK and was told "no problem." She immediately started vaping away to her hearts content. We were in line to board and we were still vaping and got a funny look from the guy in front of us in line. We told him it was an ecig. He seeemed interested so we told him what little we knew about vaping sites and such. Turns out he was a MD and also smoked. Hopefully, we can all "educate" the general public. So FYI all noobs, Phila airport is very vape friendly, Dont be too shy about vaping, cops need education too!

I have the ego set ups with Mini Novas and I have gotten some odd looks when driving around town. I hate that people might think I am toking it up and driving. I dont think many people know all the options that go along with vaping or what it looks like, besides those e-ciggs. Anyone care to share any funny or weird stories involving vaping in public places? Im just waiting to get pulled over one of these days.

Just this past mother's day, my cousin (who has shared a nefarious past w/ me) and I were parking cars for a family get together. I pulled out a spinner with a kanger pro tank on it filled with a dark juice and started puffing away. Of course the way you hit it is just like when we used to ........... He tried to block me from everyone's view and shouted out. " what are you doing? Are you crazy? I could not quit laughing. I explained to him what it was and he said. "Let me try that." He hadn't smoked for years and started coughing like mad and exclaimed, "That's no toy! Maybe you had to be there but I still laugh every time I think about it ....;-)~

I recently asked an police gentleman friend of mine this very question. His reply was that it's probably best if you keep the vaping to a minimum if you're in the line of sight of a cop car. While he can't pull you over just for vaping, he can certainly follow you and hope you perform some other type of traffic violation he can get you for. Can't hurt just to put the vape down for a few seconds rather than risk a ticket for something else I guess.
