I use a saline spray to my nose every morning, then blow my nose a few minutes later. Counteracts the drying effects of the vape, and clears up my reaction overnight to dustmites and mold.
Your body has to work very hard to remove the chemicals that you inhale from smoking, it puts the respiratory system under huge strain as well as affecting things like your gums etc. When you give up this extra strain on your body is gone and you are less susceptible to infection because your immune system is in better shape.
like clockwork I would get a cold in the spring ( feb./march) and again in fall ( oct. nov.) didnt get either ( fall last year and spring this year) been vaping since 04-13.. lets see what happens fall this yr.
Not prone to falling ill, but have noticed a dramatic improvement of consistent health. The one nasty cold/flue bug that hit me this winter lasted like a day though. It had all the markings of a critter that would normally slap me down for a week or two. Fraking cleared up withing 48 hours. Twas a Vape Miracle I tell you!!! lmao, that's me story, and am vaping with it.
Think vape is the best discovery since penicillin. lol. seriously though.
I always had lots of phlegm in my lungs every winter and spring. Like exhale and hear and feel it gurgle in my lungs. Guess it was mild pneumonia? This spring is great! No matter how hard I try to exhale I can't get that raspy hack to happen. Feels great!
It was pumped through the ventilation system in hospitals (especially surgery wards), office buildings, and old folks homes for over 50 years, to prevent the spread of germs.
Having your mouth, throat and nose lined with PG has a lot to do with why you don't "pick up" germs as easily.
Doubtful in my case since I vape pg free e-liquids due to allergy. I hardly ever got sick before I became a smoker so, for me, it probably has less to do with vaping and more likely because I quit smoking.
Also a disinfectant, vape is. Covers unsightly litter box odors well. Can quickly douse Sampson's rancid bm odor. Not only does he bite, but his chit stinks too. lmao.
I realised something pretty interesting the other day. I am one of those people who are prone to falling ill. I used to fall ill every other week... sniffles, coughs, temperatures... the lot basically.
I was thinking to myself the other day that ever since I've starting vaping, all that crap has basically gone. I get the occasional blocked nose but after having my daily vape, that also clears off.
Anyone else who is prone to falling ill with me on this one? To those who fall ill quite a lot, what's your experience like?
I started vaping the first of the year. As a smoker I would've already had at least 3 ear infections since then (probably more). So far I've only had 1! No more hacking up globs of junk anymore either.
i get the common cold less often since i vape. i've vapped for 3 years after smoking regulars for 14 years. in the first year of vaping i had issues with the common cold (got it like 5 times), but after the first year it got much better.
