That is something people don't understand about lawsuits. Getting a judgement does not mean you will ever get paid, in your lifetime.
Oftentimes you have to be willing to give up a decade or 2 of your life, and in many cases, there are periods when your lawsuit becomes almost a full time job. Plan on taking many days off from work to attend depositions, etc. and often out of town. People have used up all their vacation time and are having to do these things unpaid.
I will venture that most vapers have lives, jobs and families, and while they say they are committed to "their cause" I will realistically offer that you'd be suprised how
few would be left standing at toward the end of a lawsuit. Life gets in the way, and the entire thing becomes very stressful.
As a matter of fact, I've seen lives destroyed, marriages fall apart, etc. all in the course of people involved in lawsuits, on both sides.
It's all very easy to shout "sue sue sue" in a litigous society........but the reality is very different.
It's usually the ones who are most vociferous about bringing a suit who drop out first. It requires a lot of energy, toil and attention that they didn't count on, and not just weeks or months, but oftentimes, years of it.
