The IGO and ECHO have really tight tight poly filling. I have found boiling is fine for cleaning, but for getting good vapor, taste, and no burnt dry puffs, i use a large sewing needle and stab the filling, pour some ejuice all around the middle wick, fluff and stab, fluff' and stab'..more juice, and more fluffing and stabbing'..lol. but it works. juice will then sink completely in. Even Vg juice.

I use a hair dryer, i have no patience for waiting over nite for these suckers to dry. Havent had one stop working because of a hair dryer.

I tried that and it doesn't work on some of the thicker juices with VG.

First hit = Great.
Second hit = a little off.
Third hit = burnt vapor.

The result of vaping that burnt vapor is massive head rush. A lot of people here are saying their nic level had to be reduced from the echo cartos... well, it's not only the nic that's making you feel buzzed. Please be careful out there people!

There is a test to tell if you are getting that burnt vapor mixed in with the good.... exhale through your nose. If your nostrils burn STOP because that burning chemical vapor cannot be good for you.

Yes I use a syringe every time for the last 3 weeks. I have a medical grade 20 gauge my wife brought me. With a sharp tip it is easy to plunge it down the side.

I originally got on this thread trying to find out if the carto were the same as the GoGo ones so I could try them out. Which while similar they are not "exactly" the same so I can't speak to your issue for sure but, on the GoGo carto if I try to drip fill I get a burnt taste.

I've got 5 cartos sitting on my desk, some I've been trying to make work for over three weeks now. Three were syringe filled with 70/30 and they all only produce burnt vapor after the second hit. I'm going to have to clean them and try again.

It's a wicking issue.

Keep in mind that once you start vaping on them the condensation is thinning your juice as it settles back into the carto. That's why the flavor gets weaker and topping off adds a burst of flavor.

It's the viscosity that determines whether it wicks nicely or not.... your VG juice may be thinner than my 70/30. After having a LOT of problems I can tell you for certain that PG wicks better in these cartos.

I have some some 70/30 80/20 and 50/50. I can vape all of them for 6-8 hours before they really start to go dry and taste funny. But again I am not using the same carto you have.

Yes, you have a wicking issue. Some have claimed rolling them in you hands helps. *shrug* But I do always stand my PVs up on their end so they wick.
