Got mine yesterday filled three carts while battery was chargind so they set awhile... each one tasted burnt and awfulll after a lot of va
es they tasted somewhat better...malted toffee still taste bad.. think I would reccomend washing new carts and blowing out before use.
I was upset but their getting better. Other than that it works wonderful. I will be a happy camper if the flavor gets better.

What is the PG/VG ratio in the juices you tried? If there is too much VG in your juice then that could be the problem.

Sure don't know but I would try a different juice. Mine have all tasted great out of the box. I sure wouldn't recommend washing a new blank carto. They aren't like an atty with primer that needs to be washed off.
How much juice did you get in them? I get just under 3.5 ml in a new carto.

Just the guy I'm looking for, someone with both the 650 and 1300. I've had my 1300 for a couple of weeks now and loving it. Received my 650's today and am disappointed. The 650 requires a harder draw, and produces less vapor than the 1300. The 1300 fires with the slightest hint of a draw, but the 650 frequently doesn't fire at all without a good primer puff. Love the portability of the 650, but not impressed with it's performance (as compared to the 1300's). Have you noticed any difference in your's?

Just a follow-up to let ya'll know that Tony came thru again. Notified him that I was having this problem with the 650's and he is sending me replacements (1 650 and 1 1300) with no questions asked. All of my experiences with Cropduster901 have been positive, including lightning fast delivery. In the future, if they have "it", that's where I'll buy "it".

Good to hear, Tony is a good guy to deal with. Someone earlier was making statements about his website not being fancy enough. I would much rather deal with a supplier that cares about his customers more than updating to a hi-tech website. Some of the bigger suppliers could care less if you are happy with the service or not.

On anoher post, I told about how my first carto tasted burnt. I put everything in a drawer for a couple of days. I pulled it back out tonight, and the first one still definitely tastes burnt. It was filled with 80/20 pg/vg 12mg menthol juice. I decided to try a lower nicotine in the remaining carto, and so I filled it at a 45* angle with 80/20 pg/vg 6mg menthol juice, and let it sit for an hour.

The first 3 or 4 vapes were fine... and then burnt. I am so dissapointed; I had high hopes. I am going to contact Tony; he was very nice when I was ordering. I realize I am the exception to all the praises, and I wish it had not been like this!

So, what's the solution to that problem? I just placed an order for a kit and now I'm afraid to get it because of this!

well, I don't know if this is the solution, but I am going to start boiling my cartomizers before using. 4 times changing the water each time. I don't notice the nasty taste as much as others, proably because I have smoke heavy for over 55 years. sometimes I do though.

I wouldn't be worried if I were you. I've used the same type of carto on my Go-Go for three months and never had a burnt taste and neither did hundreds of others not saying no one has but it has been very few. Those that have mostly use very heavy VG juice. I use 80-20 pg and like I said that is one of the best things about these cartos is they normally wick very good.
