As some of you know, I have 650 chrome Echos. Just pulled the trigger on JohhnyBass's chrome 1300 echo kit. Now the wife and I can each have a 1300 with 2 backup 650s apiece. These work so well - I believe that this will be the ticket to get her to finally make the switch from analogs to PV only.
That is good to hear Fabsta, You won't be sorry, I'm sure you will like it. There isn't much not to like about the Echo.
LoL, perhaps It's just that great minds think alike. I know what you mean about the buttons. Love just reaching into my pocket and puff. Put it back and no worry about a non-intended button push.
kinda like the go-go, echo-e and the IGO.
edited to add: it's all in the cartomizer.

Just the guy I'm looking for, someone with both the 650 and 1300. I've had my 1300 for a couple of weeks now and loving it. Received my 650's today and am disappointed. The 650 requires a harder draw, and produces less vapor than the 1300. The 1300 fires with the slightest hint of a draw, but the 650 frequently doesn't fire at all without a good primer puff. Love the portability of the 650, but not impressed with it's performance. Have you noticed any difference in your's?
isn't the ego a 510 connection?
couple of "complaints": the blue LED is obnoxiously bright and the mouth piece is little long for my taste. TX mentioned something about an 801 drip tip fitting on these (which is considerable shorter) so i ordered 3 of them. will report back when i get them.
you can get ego's autos batts @ cignot ...no led's or sliver tho or 1300mAh
auto Black 1000mAh $24.00
auto White or Black 650mAh $20.00
I could have sworn I saw 1300 auto batts somewhere *sold separately ...but can't think of where ???
the cropduster site says new order coming, wonder if he ordered any larger silver batts ?
after 8 months my fingers (thumbs actually) are tired of these buttons............![]()
Yes the 801 drip tip fits great and does shorten it too. You can also push the tip in farther past the normal stopping point. This not only shortens it but makes it much tighter and it won't come off. It is a little hard to get it to go in the first time but gets easier after you have removed it a few times .
