Hello ecf friends. I've been stinky free since of April 2013 thanks to this forum. Just wanted to share my Chinese setups with you. I have a v2, k101 with chimbus. Please share your experiences or thoughts on what comes next. I feel I'm out growing mods every month.

I wanted my new toys so bad and I wanted them fast, but local was just not in the budget. I could not justify that kind of spending when I could order from Fasttech for such a significant amount less money. I spent over $300 when I started vaping to get all the bells and whistles for V2 cigs, but I wasn't satisfied with the KR808 setup. Now, a little over three months later I am starting from scratch with my supplies. I was determined to do a better job researching what I would really need for the long term. I hope I have effectively done that, and done it at a reasonable price.

I got a Vamo V3 kit, and X6 set with X8 atomizer, a kanger protank, a X9 protank, some evods, and a couple of cheap ego batteries for around town.

My X8 came in a set I bought. I oly got to use it for a few hours before the carto went out in it. I read that the ones that come with them are not great. I guess I got an especially bad one. I loved it while it lasted. I haven't tried anything else yet. I should have my evods and protanks tomorrow, though. I am really excited to get my new toys.

I have to give some love to the protank as well. Also vaping on a beer budget can be hard, cause I want all of the shinies! My husband even works at a vapor shop and we get a very nice discount and I still can't afford everything I want. On my initial browse throught he forum I felt like a lot of it was "Go provari or go home" ok maybe it was not that bad, but provari is definitely out of my budget.

I vape the X8. The carto that came with it made for a flush fit so it had to go. I like the look of the tank but I do believe I was misinformed that it was glass. It appears to be but I read somewhere it isn't. Either way it is holding up fine for me although my husbands Smok carto tank is much easier to fill. The X is a pain without a needle bottle.

I vape on a beer budget. I use the same ego type battery with carto tank I bought several months ago. I go through about 10 to 15ml of juice a week. A carto lasts two or three weeks. Vaping can be inexpensive…I know the gadgets are tempting but then...

…I have other hobbies I can keep myself broke with. That thing pictured on the left just got a new SON generator hub, a new drive train and some Kool Stop dual compound brake pads. Hard to believe I spent so much money on tobacco, year after year, decade after decade…bleah!

Welcome Hung!
I'm pretty new around here as well, but one thing I found about this vaping thing is, if you have something that works, and isn't horrible, wait and RESEARCH, and save for the best you can afford. my first mistakes were made by finding a review of something and rushing out and buying it only to find something better and cheaper while the other stuff was still in the mail! I do this as cheap as possible too. I didn't/don't want a drawer full of mods that I don't use (right now it's only half full). First thing I bought was a VV device. The ego twists are awesome. Not a lot of MAH in the batts but its regulated power that gives consistent vapes throughout the charge. And they're cheap. I did that first, realized i liked VV so then i found that I liked the size of some box mods so I got the MVP by innokin. Good thing is I have friends that are interested in trying ecigs so I sell them my "starter kits" and recoup some of what I spent early on.
