Sadly, with another drop in the economy and No overtime in sight, I found out last month I have no vaping budget.
Fortunately 2 months ago I made a decent DIY supply purchase. Should hold me over for quite a while.

I am planning on some DIY too. I know the upfront costs can be a lot but it'll pay off in the long run.

I have a ton to learn before I could jump into the DIY market. Is it very time intensive? I just think it would be easier to order some juice. I guess if you really know what you're doing you could probably get the exact flavors you're really wanting. But I think you would need to have an idea of where to start. Try enough juices to find what you like and don't like and then tinker from there to build your holy grail flavors haha.

Just received my vape mail today. I think I need a cheaper hobby guys.

From watching various YouTube channels it doesn't seem too difficult. However, I would not be adding any nicotine if I were making my own juice. I have seen programs that help you do the math to help with mixes though.

If you compare the prices of buying the supplies versus buying from vendors...big markup. The amount you can make versus the amount you spend through vendors is ridiculous.

I have an android and there's this really cool app called Vape (icon is red with a white V). Not only does it tell you how much you have saved, what your vaping expenses are, how much cigarettes you haven't smoked, and your break even date, but it even shows you health milestones that you are passing and has a simple and advanced calculator for doing DIY juices :D

Dude, I've been there. I can remember going to the grocery store with my wife and buying groceries for two weeks with $25 to spend. We ate a lot of beans and rice, taters, pasta and cheap sausage, ramen noodles, etc. My wife and I can still do some amazing things with ramen noodles and a little ingenuity. I brewed my own beer and we drank Koolaid instead of soda. On Saturday nights, we splurged with real hamburgers! Neither one of us could afford hobbies.

I was smoking like a chimney then, too.

Things are a whole lot different, now. Even though I could probably afford every mod I've seen here and elsewhere, I'm just trained not to spend money I don't need to.
