I mean we have sent enough of our business to china, which is now taking a huge toll on our wonderful modern day economy. I do realize that buying American made juices from our American suppliers wont have even a 1% impact on the economy, but wouldnt you feel better about yourself?

It is a thought that runs through my head everyday, about how we have sent enough work to China that can easily employ thousand and thousands of good ol' American citizens and stop family's from the hurt, pain and suffering they are currently going through in the hard times. think about it......If e-cigs ever get to be as big as we all hope for them to get then maybe one day an unimaginable amount of Americans will have jobs in the business.

It is just really irritating to pick up an item and see this little gold sticker "made in china". I quite honestly can't remember when the last time I picked up an Item and it read "proudly built in America"

Just a thought.

And yours?

I'm with you on this one. American or even European made, I feel much better about my purchases. Just something about "made in china" that bothers me, knowing they make just about everything and do it in massive amounts because they can.

I've never really been picky about what i buy in terms of where its made until I started buying e-cigs and liquid. Unless its out of extreme convenience (i.e. right in front of my face to buy), I've done my best to get everything American made so far. Though I might be breaking that soon, i read somewhere on here that the Janty eGo is fabricated in China but haven't seen anyone confirm that yet.

I don't partly because they are trying, or SEEM to be trying their hardest to strangle the new industry in its infancy here in the US. In favor of Big T? Or Big pharma? I don't know, but I don't think either of those groups of companies are making so many American products they are turning away workers. This new industry would be a godsend for some enterprising American manufacturers, (I'm talking hardware, not MODs and not juices, though they are threatened too, I buy all my juices from US sources btw) and I'm sure people would buy from them (an american maker of PVs), but they can't and may never be able to if certain people have their way.
Sad.
Until then Ill buy from an American based company selling Chinese sourced hardware like I always have and hope for the best.

<---Look at my screen name. This is the America that we are living in. As long a big brother (government) has something to say about it. They're more like a big bully instead. The FDA, Tobacco, and Pharmacy industries don't want ecigs around. Also should mention the anti-smoker organizations as well.

America can have an ecig industry but everyone has to have an opinion about it and no one wants to take the risk of going up against these companies previously mentioned. The Chinese have laws too but they are able to at least make stuff without hassle or harrassment.

California tried to ban the sale of ecigs and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger stopped the bill from passing. America has too many freedoms. The freedom of manufacturing vs. the freedom to protest, and make up stupid laws to outlaw ecigs.

I buy American e-juice, and if I were VG fan I'd buy Ecopure, so that's UK-made.

My device, the 510, was made in China, but the recurring supplies at least are "made in America".

Of course, when it comes to cars I only buy Honda, so I guess I'm not one who really cares as much about the origin of the products as I do the quality. My first Honda, a 1997 Civic, has 200k+ miles on it and is still going strong. My now-ex is driving her, and abusing the hell out of her -- I finally stopped nagging him about making sure to keep the oil changes current about 3 months before we split... I just decided he'd be out a car if he killed her. My 2004 Accord (I bought her two and a half years ago and that was when I gave the Civic to my ex) is performing beautifully. Got both cars used at approximately 60k miles. The worst mechanical failure I've had on either was the ground contact for the battery breaking on the Civic at 110k -- they had to resolder it, it was quickly fixed.

<political speech>Maybe someone can talk about using the stimulus funds to convert some Detroit auto factories into e-cigarette factories?</political speech>

Not easy being Aussie :( Limited options from the US in terms of PV units and liquids (not all will ship internationally, Johnson Creek, Altsmoke, Puresmoker) UK is just too expensive... chinese is the way to go if I want to keep any cash in the bank.

30ml bottle of French Pipe 24mg

$27.15 AU for French Pipe from UK supplier
$10.00 AU for French Pipe from chinese retailer.

Decisions decisions

Since MY government wants to take the e-cig from me, I have no qualms about buying China.
On the other hand, when I’m buying for my five year old granddaughter, I have a problem.

I agree with this. However, I prefer US vendors because I want to fill the wallets of my fellow citizen first. It may not be much but it helps support the families of my neighbors.

So the Stars & Stripes, Red, White & Blue do nothing for you? No lump in the throat? No longing for "home?"
I'll have to say that it does for me. There is a simple remedy though. Just turn on CSPAN for a few minutes, and that feeling goes away. Thanks to my friends and neighbors for electing these idiots.

Well its great to hear that you are another victim of being brainwashed by the media to listen to everything they say.
