Thought that was a genuine disease for a minute... So glad google is my friend :)

Thinking about it now since quitting I have a few little bits of dry skin but I guess thats just from quitting the cigs.

Well, PG, VG (and the one common in Europe I don't remember the name of... PGE? PEG?) make vapor by absorbing moisture (well, more or less). You may need to up your water intake a bit. Not gallons and gallons (or liters and liters... miles and feet and socks?). Just more. How much more... depends on the person and the vaping habits and all.

I remember when I started doing a nasal exhale regularly, my nasal passages got really dry and itchy and other craziness. But it didn't last and I didn't have to do any major changes in my routine. There is a period of adjustment as your body switches from the old thing to the new thing but there are worse things. Lung cancer for one.

And then there's that one affliction we all have: aging. I've got dry patches popping up here and there for no reason except I'm not 20 anymore. :)

The one thing i found was with nic strength and that is for me less is better than more. When i first started vaping at 18mg i was getting sick but with continued reducing the level (now at 3mg/ml) i have found out that my body doesn't require strong nic to be satisfied.
Yes! Figured I wasn't a loner. The 18 mg. hit me hard; 38 years of smoking didn't matter. After a few days down to 16.5 mg.. now 14.5.. making the two year mark (tobacco free) @ less than 13 is easy.
A lady stated, returning to smoking due to becoming sick from vaping. "Honey, just cut your strength."

Side effects, I have experienced.
Days 1-5 (Major headaches, thought it was due to 16mg of Nic, which it could've been but I think the withdrawal from 4000+chemicals not going into my body anymore seems more likely.
Days 6-125 (today) Wallet is a little heavier, especially since the wife stopped analogs and started vaping 4 weeks ago.
Dry mouth a lot. But I drink a lot of coffee, waterr, tea, alchohol, etc.
Last note: I have asthma (Yes I know stoopid, but I could've done ......, so :p) and I used to use an inhaler a month, now I use one every 2 1/2 months.
That last one is the side effect I am happiest about most.
Oh ya, I now smell when other smokers come near me and am disgusted about how bad I use to smell. YUCK!

Vape on!

Yesterday I had a headache that I am not sure where it came from. It was an extremely mild headache, could have been a sinus headache too because it was more of a pressure pain. I am not sure if its because I have fallen in love with Suicide Bunny OB or not which lead to chain vaping it pretty heavy at 18mg. I just picked up some Suicide Bunnie OB in 0mg to moderate myself tomorrow and see what happens.

Today was day 8 and I hope the headache goes away soon. I have only had a headache yesterday and a very slight pressure today.

Heis, I too experienced that headache in the beginning. I think once all the residual toxins from cigarettes left my body the headache went away. The first couple of weeks coughing and I thought it was from the e liquid. Almost gave up on vaping then, but turns out I had bronchial infection. I still occasionally get that dry sinus/throat/tongue, but only if I forget to drink plenty of water. I will say that if I chain vape or stay up really late vaping, I will get a headache from it. Eventually all those things have gone away for me unless I exceed my limit!

I had really bad multiple canker sores. Still do, hopeful it will go away.

I had them the first time i stopped smoking and started vaping.

Then i started smoking and vaping and the sores went away.

So i think it has more to do with the smoking.

stopped cigs again and just gonna stick it out this time.

try a warm salt-water rinse a couple times a day

also, oranges have a good amount of vitamin C which prevents your mouth from going dry.

i too have experienced the canker sores and they are pretty damn painful but they will go away. just give it some time

The only side effect I can attribute to vaping has been chapped lips. I read what someone wrote earlier about the fact that PG has a "drying effect", and can cause dry mouth and canker sores. I haven't had any canker sores, and only a slightly dry mouth. I vape Halo juices, and I'm betting that they're PG-heavy. No biggie, though - I've always carried Vaseline Lip Therapy in my pocket even before I started vaping, and I've always drank a lot - not alcohol, but water, coffee, apple juice, sodas, etc. It's not nearly enough to turn me off to vaping. I'm in it for the long haul.

;)

Yep, I'll go down the list.

My wallet cries every time I even go browsing at mods.
I cry for my wallet.
Onset of Obsessive Coiling Disorder.
I think I chipped a tooth on my stainless drip tip.
My family thinks I'm cooking something awesome, but it's just me vaping custard or chocolate lava cake.
I have way too much fun with my lock ring.
Every green LED in the house makes me think my batteries are done charging.
That damn whistling sound.
