Teeth tingles from time to time that's about it

Oh yeah, that reminds me. Apparently, as the blood flow in your mouth improves, you can (not "will", not everybody) experience tooth pain. Or some problem with your teeth that was developing anyway will emerge and be a pain in... well, jaw?

It's not caused "by vaping" per se but by "not having poison gasses in your mouth". I had an old, old root canal thing act up at times and, once in a while, make me think I was going to have to crawl to the dentist. Then it stopped. And hasn't come back.

A lot of the "side effects" seem to actually be "your body recovering". It often can be a good thing that's just not pleasant. Like the cough a lot of ex-smokers (vapers or otherwise) can get. Lots of disgusting stuff starts coming up. But it's because your lungs are cleaning house. Which is positive if... icky? :)

Still waiting for my first cold since picking up vaping more than a year ago...

I started vaping during an annual lung infection. The $200.00 a year for a clinic visit, and another $200.00 or so for steroid inhalers and antibiotic cycles inspired me to throw caution to the wind and try something new. I think the medicine and illness hid the side-effects of dislodging the bacteria and matter that got trapped in the tar pit my lungs had become. So, I can't say I didn't have side effects. But so far, the long-term side effect has been the ability to identify with a non-smoker.

One good side effect for me is that I haven't had what I could call a bad cold in years since I quit smoking. I have had zero lung infections. The worst I've had is a stuffy nose from mild allergies, which has improved immensely since I quit smoking, anyway.

PG can cause some mild respiratory irritations if you inhale deeply and/or set your mod to create huge clouds. Back it down to light cigarette level exhales and that clears up. You don't have to inhale to get the nicotine with an ecig. The nic is absorbed through mucous membranes in the mouth, throat, and sinuses. The mist droplets are too large to get deep into the lungs anyway, so there's no real point of inhaling deep into the lungs like you did with cigarettes.

Develop the technique where you inhale shallowly, just enough to allow you to exhale through the nose. The nic will be absorbed. You can also hold the vapor in your mouth for a few seconds. It will be absorbed by the soft tissue in your mouth, just like smokeless tobacco.

Great thread.

I still enjoy walking through a cloud of smoke, but dang, smelling a smoker's clothes now, yucky.

Bad effects:
1. My neighbors are either keeping a pet skunk or are growing some potent weed.
2. Terrible acne, not attributed to quitzits, too much time has passed. Someone mentioned checking hormone levels since analogs suppress hormones.
3. Putting off grading my students' work in lieu of reading and posting here
5. Spending way more than my 1 1/2 pad habit
6. Being able to smell every bakery

Positive Effects:
1. My hair. My hair smells so freaken good.
2. No more colds/bronchitis
3. Not having to freeze outside for a smoke/saving that time to peruse ecf
5. The greatest: going through an entire day without the thought of wanting a smoke

As a cop my only issue is that I smell like I've just stepped out of a donut shop. Hard to be taken seriously when I smell like waffles, and strawberry and such........also before becoming a cop I was a Chef for 15 years, so my coworkers always thought I was cooking up some sort of desert at first, boy the look of excitement followed by betrayal.

I started on Tuesday and haven't smoked a cigarette since :p The only problem I am having is when I vape "sweet" e juice I get a headache. Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel like I am missing out when the only e juice I have been able to vape without a problem is the tobacco menthol flavor I bought.

Hi, I can't say I've ever had any bad side effects (so far) but I'm just intrigued to see if anyone else has through there time of vaping?

So far for me the only bad side effect I have had is the shiny syndrome. My wallet (and wife)hate it. Other than that nothing bad, I love vaping :vapor:

I had vapors tongue twice in the first couple of months when vaping, other than that I have a developed a weird compulsion to buying juice and toppers.

I got a trusty, solid PV so I can't justify a new one. But I can always justify trying a new tank or flavor! I've had everything ECblend has to offer, and I'll be getting all of HHV's tobacco flavors with my next order - which puts me more than half way through their juice line-up. And I just ordered a new tank to "see how it looks" on my PV. LOL@myself.
