Oh yeah, that reminds me. Apparently, as the blood flow in your mouth improves, you can (not "will", not everybody) experience tooth pain. Or some problem with your teeth that was developing anyway will emerge and be a pain in... well, jaw?

It's not caused "by vaping" per se but by "not having poison gasses in your mouth". I had an old, old root canal thing act up at times and, once in a while, make me think I was going to have to crawl to the dentist. Then it stopped. And hasn't come back.

A lot of the "side effects" seem to actually be "your body recovering". It often can be a good thing that's just not pleasant. Like the cough a lot of ex-smokers (vapers or otherwise) can get. Lots of disgusting stuff starts coming up. But it's because your lungs are cleaning house. Which is positive if... icky? :)

Thank you so much for this. I have a few old crowns that have been throbbed, was scared I had sugar or something in the juice that was rotting away the base. I'll give it a little longer to see if it subsides.

I was diagnosed with duodenitis back in 1997 or so. I had very little trouble with it until I started vaping. It was so bad, I would double over with pain for hours. But I started taking 900 mg Ranitidine throughout the day and that seemed to cure it.
I've heard switching to VG might help that, but there's no local supply (no credit card for online purchases).

Other than that, I've had no other issues.
I have chronic post nasal drip and nasal congestion so I'd not be able to tell if vaping does anything about that lol

Been vaping for 2 weeks now - a bit of a stuffy nose I think which could be related to vaping. Not exactly blisters but something like that on the tongue - I think both of these will go away. Been off cigarettes for 6 weeks now - 4 weeks was on gum. Switched to vaping late Feb. Gym through put has been much better and I feel less out of breath in general.

Obviously if it gets bad or drags on a long time, see a dentist. But I had an old, old root canal... I forget now it was so long ago... just go bonkers for a while. Read here that it wasn't unusual at all and, sure enough, it settled down after a while.

From everything I've read, the crazy part is the chemicals in the smoke you used to inhale actually could kill off the micro-critters attacking your teeth, slowing and "masking" a developing dental problem. So you have to see how it goes and judge for yourself. Or go ahead and check in with your dentist to be sure. It could be just the increasing (well, going back to normal) blood flow in your mouth and you're adjusting. It could be a problem you've been developing for a while but the smoking "masked" it.

Not much (nothing I can think of at all) in e-juice that could do anything to teeth. I DIY most all my juices and the sweetener is Stevia. That seems to be the big one from my reading. Not sure how you'd get actual sugar to mix well. :)

I vape 70mg fluid and my side effects tend to be upset stomach, mild headaches, sleepiness, mild irritation at the spot the vapor hits directly when inhaling it...my guess is all of these are effects caused by high nicotine levels in my bloodstream except for the irritated spot in my throat which is probably caused by high nicotine vapor hitting it constantly

All of these things go away if i placebo puff some 24mg or less stuff

I'm not sure why but certain juices aggravate my asthma. Maybe pgvg ratio. Not all juices say what they are. I take a inhaled steroid to combat any attacks. I used to use my rescue inhaler multiple times a day before I quit smoking. Still need it occasionally because of the vape but not anywhere near like when I was smoking. I got the tongue thing from chain vaping while consuming large amounts of alcohol.... And I seem to get a runny nose type feel after a cape break. The pros outweigh the cons at every level though.

I had the runny nose thing for a while. Sometime along the way, I guess my body got used to the switch, adjusted, and I don't remember last time it happened. Now I am talking a year since I started vaping (wow, that seems weird to say). It was something I was willing to live with to get off the cigs so I can't say when it stopped. I didn't pay attention. Some adjustments seem to happen fast, others take time I guess.

I don't much of anything about asthma but I'd you're on the right track suspecting PG/VG. One thought to consider is asthma inhalers use PG (no, seriously, you've been vaping longer than you thought :) ). So my top suspect would be VG. Which is vegetable glycerin and some report having allergic reactions. I have allergies and there are mornings I sneeze myself silly when I first start vaping. My family is so allergy prone, I don't even try to figure that one out. Could be pure coincidence and pollen count, not vaping. But it has made me wonder if I've a very minor VG allergy. I'm drifting toward more PG heavy mixes anyway for taste. Be curious if the sneezing seems to calm down.

Might be worth trying some 100% PG juice. See if that makes a difference?

Only thing bad about vaping so far for me has been an extremely dry mouth most of the time.

Gotta drink more water. PG & VG make vapor by absorbing water. Some of which is being swiped from you. You don't have to start carrying around gallon jugs or anything crazy but definitely vapers have to up their hydration.

Hesenberer you gotta get your self a better tank man! I liked my kanger stuff for a minute but once you get a kayfun clone you'll be wondering why you put up with the leaking at all! 25 bones at fasttech. If you can afford the authentic one please do but the clones work great and theirs no point wasting your juice like that and making the switch more difficult on yourself.

I can't bury my food in habanero sauce any more. I have to use "reasonable" amounts now..

Which reminded me, I'm really picky now about coffee. I mean, I can actually tastes the coffee again instead of just the tons of creamer and stuff I used to use...
