Anyone Have Analog Dreams?

Just had my first sleeping dream of smoking analogs last night since I began vaping.

I think it's because just yesterday I couldn't vape all day...and all were bad of my large collection of 24mg. nic flavours...I bought high nic at first because I was afraid I'd feel something lacking from my 2 pack a day analog habit and wanted vaping to work straight outtta the vapemail boxen.

But finally, 24 mg. has become overwhelming, as I vape way more than I smoked analogs.

So, yesterday I cut way back...I was getting dizzy and felt a bit nic poisoned.

Anyone else have analog dreams...and if so...why do you think you had such?

Yup. I haven't smoked 'Mary Jane' since around 1998 but still sometimes dream about that too. Weird thing is I feel actually stoned in the dreams lol.

I haven't, but a guy at work who still smokes told me today that he had a dream that I got a vaporizer like mine, and now he's planning to go buy one this weekend.

I have had a couple. It's a pretty common occurence for drug addicts when they stop doing drugs. I've been clean for 23 yrs and stillhave the occasional dream involving my drug of choice.

I haven't, but a guy at work who still smokes told me today that he had a dream that I got a vaporizer like mine, and now he's planning to go buy one this weekend.

That's a rather cool twist on an analog dream!

Mine was a funny dream...(aren't all dreams weird?)

I was driving around in a rented car in a part of California I didn't recognize. Then I had a real massive need to smoke analogs, but was dead set on only smoking my brand...yet couldn't remember the name of it.

Oddly, my old brand I'd only smoke was American Spirit Menthol...and the brand I couldn't remember was one I never smoked: Benson and Hedges.

I stopped in a nice small bar around closing time and was the only customer. I kept telling the bartender I could only smoke my brand and we started running through analog brand names..nope...not that one...sorry..what other brands do you have?

He pointed to a huge poster on the wall in Art Nouveau with a very long written ad pitch. It was for a double-long, extra thin new analog.

The bartender said everyone was smoking these now and loved them. Less tar...more flavour...lighter hit.

I thought about trying the new type of analog...it wasn't a cash problem...but went, "No. My brand is very common. I just have a memory problem. Can we just keep going until we hit on it?"

Finally he held up a pack of Benson and Hedges (Remember: My analog of choice was only American Spirit for years)...and I seemed to recognize it...bought a pack..chatted with the nice bartender....and got that satisfying hit - finally.

Then...I woke up. And my vape setups were all right in front of me staring me in the face.

Ah...what does it all mean? If anything....

Dang I don't believe I ever had a dream about smoking, Sex yes, food that would touch my lips but be air in taste, fly woohoo, hover over my own body, etc etc etc but no smoking that I can recall.

Funny this post came up, because I just dreamt of smoking last night. Might be because I think I'm coming down with vaper's tongue.

Around the 2 month mark I started having extremely vivid dreams, for about a week, where I would start smoking in them at some point. (Weird thing was that they weren't even my brand)
The dreams were so vivid that I would wake up in the morning depressed and disappointed in myself, until I looked up and saw my pv on the counter.
Whatever chemicals were in those cigarettes I used to smoke really jacked my brain up.

We often dream about things we used to find pleasurable. I still dream about the "sticky icky" on occasion, and I haven't had that in years.

Almost exactly my dream experience!

Still, when I awoke and saw my PV setups, I had no interest in an analog. At all.

No analog dreams so far about a month and a half in now. Now when I quit from 97-07 i would periodically have those dreams.

Dunvegan - the tartan any clan in particular or just for fun ????

During the first couple months I had dreams. When I switched back to smokes after chewing, it was all dreams about spit tobacco. Then switching from smokes to vapes .... I dreamt about smoking & chewing. Pretty standard stuff. It's the addicted brain making adjustments. Even food addicts go through it. Several recovering drug addicts have told me the dreams haunt them. Even after being clean for years. The worst is when the dream seems completely real, and waking up with a guilty feeling.

Had a smoking dream just the other night. In the dream I remember feeling horribly guilty and disappointed. It was such a relief to wake up and realize it was just a dream... and I wouldn't have to reset my ECF cessation banner.

I haven't had any analog dreams but I did dream I was a kid at my grandma's house on Thanksgiving. Someone rang the door and it was a man with two giant Butterball Turkeys. By giant, I mean they were the size of blimps, floating in the air and he was holding them by ropes. He gave them to me and said that before I could have any turkey dinner, I had to give away these two turkeys. When he handed them too me they pulled me up out of the house and I floated through the air. I managed to give away one turkey but woke up before I could give away the other.

So NOW I've had a weird dream! Not about analogs, but something much worse, and much stranger. First of all, all the 7/11s were abandoned, and I was squatting in one for some reason. This 7/11 carried all sorts of EGO batteries and tanks which I had filled and stashed all over the place. But people kept coming into my 7/11 and STEALING MY STUFF! I couldn't find a vaporizer anywhere! Everyone who I saw seemed to have one (presumably stolen from my abandoned 7/11 stashes) but I couldn't find mine, and no one would let me use theirs! It was horrible!

Also, a strange old woman came into my 7/11 with a bag of groceries she wished to return. She left in a huff when I told her that the cashier had been gone for at least three days and was not likely to return. She was...unpleasant.

I have not had a dream of anologs, but last night I had a dream I was vaping. It was a good dream

I haven't had any analog dreams but I have had some weird other ones though. All kind of crazy drama ones. Last night I either tossed all night or dreamed about it. I'm not really sure. I'm not exhausted so I think it was in the dream. Getting kind of trippy. HAHA
