Another way to fill the tank.
Pour the the liquid in the tank.
Slowly screw cap and look at the fluid as soon as it begins to sink, the device is turned over and screw cap to the end. And a little bit so wait for 5 - 8 seconds. If you immediately turn back the liquid is still going into the chamber as the air does not have time to fly out.

After a month of owning my 804's I must say its the best tank vape I have. After trial and error setting up a working wick and coil and tuning in the watts that keeps the wick wicking perfectly, it really is a dream vape.

1 piece of single looped 3mm silica with each side of the wick touching the juice channels(not in the channels) with 30awg 4/5 wrap at 1.3ohms at 10watts, I get a carefree vape with 0 worries.

I prefer this over my term-c, killer 705, and genesis rba's atm. It's definately not as pretty though. Cant wait for the SS version to come out.

Only atty's I like better are my DRA XL's and my IGO-L's, but those are drippers.

I don't think I'd like the ss version though. It's putting the coil farther away from your mouth and I'm wishing it was a little closer. I'm needing to find a short mouth piece for it.

You can use the v2 in short mode. The extra length comes from extra parts which can be left out. So it can be used in the same configuration as the v1.

I tried this again today and I still can't get the hang of it. Juice everwhere lol. I guess I'll just stick with filling from the bottom. I don't spill a drop that way and although I usually wind up with a gurgle it disappears pretty quick.

I've also redone a couple of my mixes, cutting them down to 6mg and using less percent of flavor. I've got a delish 'baccy mix going at the moment and my dream is vaping like a ....dream lol.

As much as I like it though, I'm very hesitant about recommending it to anyone else. I think several here have been, shall we say, less than impressed with it.

I've read through the thread and ordered one. It should be coming in today.

Does anyone have any leaking problems when laying it on it's side? i.e. like genesis RBAs.

Mine don't. Imo the key to keeping them from leaking or flooding is to have the wick ends circle the base above the channels. I wrap my (cheesecloth) wick in the same direction as the chimney screws on and make sure the ends are long enough to come back under the other end, like this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...clone-aka-dream-bt804-tank-7.html#post8675891

In this video, Todd wrap in the opposite direction and that seems to work also. However, I do think he cuts his wicks too short in this video. I tried that and got some gurgling on refills (for just two or three puffs) and some flooding if left on its side.

In addition, and I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I'd also suggest experimenting with unraveling the silica (if that's what you're going to use) because there isn't much space between the inner base and the chimney.

Start this at about 19:00 to see the wicks. DREAM RBA - YouTube

For refilling, I plug the mouth piece and fill from the bottom. I don't spill a drop that way and since I started circling the wick ends I seldom get even a gurgle on refills. I use the plunger from a 1mm syringe after trimming the end lip of the plunger with nail clippers.

If you plan on using the stock coil and wick, be sure and check that the coils are not too loose on the silica. Spread them out more or redo it to tighten them up.

If you have any problems be sure and let us know. :vapor:

Anyone know when the V2 will be available? I'm really loving the BT804 but I find myself topping off three or four times a day. Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but mine eats through juice like a thirsty sailor. The extra capacity will be a welcome feature, though I wish instead of making it taller they just made it wider, say about 22mm so it would be flush with many of the mech mods.

BTW- I'm running a 1.2Ω coil with cotton ball wick on my Natural and loving it. I'm filling from the top all the way to the threads. Let it settle for a few minutes till the juice level drops just to the top of the inner cone. Then apply the cap without engaging the threads. Flip it upside down and let the juice settle so there is an air gap at the two intake channels then screw on the top. If anything I get just a drop of juice from the air hole. I really think it helps to have the wick tails long enough to make a complete circuit around the base of the chamber.

One more thing... The cotton wicks are lasting 5~6 days on average. After that they start to taste a little funky. The beauty is that I can simply pull the wick from the coil, give it a good dry burn and rinse, then insert a new wick. I've had the same 28g coil installed for nearly three weeks now.
