......BTW- I'm running a 1.2Ω coil with cotton ball wick on my Natural and loving it. .....

Dang it hildicat why did you have to go putting ideas in my little brain. I took a perfectly good 2.2 ohm coil out of one of my 804s and put in a 1.3 ohm coil. It's set aside to soak for a while... I'll let you know how it goes this evening. :vapor:

(Actually, I'd been planning on trying that for a while now, but your post did remind me lol.)

Anyone having a problem with getting the pin to stay? I tried both pins in the hole and same results. I'm using 32g kanthal and it doesn't hold it in place.

No problem here with my three. Make sure the wire ends are long enough to go to the bottom of the hole or close to it, as the wire isn't trapped right at the top of the hole but farther down. With no wire in the holes, the pins should tighten up enough to be difficult to wiggle back out. If they don't then something is wrong and you might want to contact your vendor. The end of a needle or something might work to get you going in the meantime though.

Ok, I'm vaping the 1.3 ohm build with my bolt now. A little more vapor and a little warmer, but for me at least, flavor seems to suffer a tad. I think I'm going to rebuild to around 2 ohms for my bolt. I think that would be more in my sweet spot with these.

I can see where others would like this though, as the vapor is noticeably warmer, and comes on faster. :vapor:

Since this thread is back from the dead, how is everybody keeping this thing from leaking out of the air hole? I have 3 of them, and they all leak. I just pulled one out of the drawer today, rewicked it with some cotton yarn and by the second tank, it is leaking again. I love this atty, but the leaking drives me crazy!

Thanks all!

Both of my clear tanks were fine, but I did have some problems with the smoke one until I figured out that the top o ring wasn't making good contact with the top of the chimney. I wound up sanding both ends of the tube to shorten it a tad bit and allow the chimney to make better contact. A little something between the top cap and o ring would probably have worked as well.

The two normal things that I know about that will cause leaks is having short wicks in the chimney and/or filling from the top and allowing the air pressure to push the juice above the coil deck when screwing the top back on.

I always make sure my wick ends are long enough to circle the shaft inside the chimney like this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...clone-aka-dream-bt804-tank-7.html#post8675891

If you fill from the top, make sure you keep an eye on the juice as you start to screw the lid back on, and when the juice starts to move down a little, flip the tank, wait for the juice to drain back out of the channels, then finish tightening the top.

I do fill from the top. I screw the cap on about 1 turn, then flip and wait for air bubble to reach the slot and finish tightening the top. When I installed the new wick yesterday, I intentionally left it on the long side. It simply leaks while in use.

I wonder if it could be vapor condensing inside the bottom. I do catch myself blowing into the atomizer and I am trying to break the habit to see if it helps. Maybe I need to continue to draw after releasing the button for a second or two. As it is now for me, this is simply not a pocket friendly atomizer.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. If I am the only one having these problems...it sounds like user error!

@JD looks like there is a groove. (can't post pic with ipad)

Thanks. Yeal, you can sort of see when the o ring is setting in a grove.

@g-akita wasn't able to use it long enough to know but vivi nova tanks works on these.

How long (estimated) until your kayfun? Plus don't you need another 804 for out and about lol?? :vapor:

Has anyone had a problem with the tank cracking?

These tanks are like the vvn tanks and I've read of cracking on them, so I'm assuming these will also. I'm good so far but I don't use any juices that cause problems and I'm careful not to over tighten AND, so far, haven't dropped them lol.

If you're pining for a juice that's a known tank cracker, you might want to try the metal vvn tank, altho I can't imagine not being able to see the juice level.
