One-on-One Flavors — Triacetin

Those would be the ones to avoid in plastic tanks since most all Triacetin based flavors will cause cracking. Beyond that, Citrus flavors are pretty well-know for causing issues, regardless of flavor manufacturer as is Cinnamon however, Cinnamon Roll doesn't seem to have enough cinnamon in it to be an issue, so it's safe to use (based on my usage).

Thanks. I was wondering about the triacetin, as it was discussed earlier. It just wasn't clear if people were avoiding triacetin for cracking or for other possible issues.

I'm going to pass on that info as well as the info regarding MBV rainbow sherbet. I appreciate it guys.

How sweet are ooo flavors? Was wondering how much sweetener to add, I almost always add some EM to most things I mix and dont really want to overdo it

As with most, it really depends. I've vaped the majority of their line without EM and found them to be more than acceptable to my palate. I personally don't like using EM because it dulls flavors for me, so I try to blend a sweet flavor with a semi-sweet to get it where it needs to be for me.

Cinnamon Roll is pretty sweet, to me, on it's own (as an example). Vanilla Ice Cream is plenty sweet as well, as are most. That being said, I do have a more sensitive palate than most. So one flavor that is sweet to me may be dull to someone who used to be a heavier smoker.

still free samples available?

Not as of now, but they do have plans to offer them again in the not too distant future. I don't know when, just that there are plans :).

Like hear about the cinnamon roll from anyone that's tried it ? How does it compare with other vendors

I've ran through about 20 ml of the flavoring in the past month and it's perfect, for me, at 10-12%. Even at 8% it was still really good and the flavor never seems to fade. Used it with a 50/50 blend, 12mg Nic from Wizard Labs.

That's probably one of my favorite flavors from them. A few said it compares to FW's Cinnamon Roll but my taste buds are telling me that there are differences. OOO's doesn't seem to be as overpowering when mixed and doesn't really need the steep time whereas the one from FW, I believe it needs it. There's not major differences between them, but there are subtle differences.

I just got in 4 flavors, snickers, double dutch chocolate, green apple and blood orange. They recommend 10-15% on their website, do you guys find that's the correct range? I'll be mixing the first batches tonight and doing some speed steeping so I can evaluate them tomorrow.

With blood orange, I didn't get the burst of flavor I expected, so I believe I upped it to 23-25%. Last I recall, it's one of their natural flavors so it's going to be a little weaker than something chemically created, kinda like how vanilla extract is weaker than Hangsen Vanilla, as basic example.

As for Snickers, DDC and Green Apple, I'd start with 5-8% and move from there. Too much of those 3 and the flavor can be so overpowering it becomes nasty (as is the case with any flavor). The 15% recommendation is more so for those new to vaping, IMO. Those that can't or don't taste as much because many of their flavors I simply cannot do at 15% because it's just too much.

Ah heck. Just finished up DDC at 12% and snickers at 10%. I am fairly new to vaping and was a smoker for ~40 yrs so they may not be too strong...except for the DDC which has a slight perfumey smell right off the bat. I'll do the BO at 20% and and GA at 5% steep 'em and try 'em out tomorrow. Oh the joys of DIY!

Thanks for the reply Tactical, much appreciated!

Just got my first order yesterday. Ordered double dutch chocolate, sweet tarts, rice krispies, peanut butter, cinnamon roll, vanilla ice cream and dutch apple pie. Someone threw in 2 extras, candy corn and black cherry. Thanks one on one.
Mixed up four so far, ddc, sweet tarts, cinnamon roll and black cherry.
I am new to this and haven't mixed too many flavors before and have found something lacking in the ones I have done. Like the really good juice shops know something I don't know and are able to get more from the flavors available. Reading these forums I see that they are adding a little of this and that (Saline, acids like vinegar and lemon juice, sweeteners, etc).
Sweet tarts, black cherry and cinnamon bun didn't need any of that. They are great at 10% for me.
With the double dutch chocolate I agree with an earlier poster. It tastes good but is not quite there. Like it needs something(steeping possibly). I will experiment with it (really want to make a halo belgian chocolate clone).
So thumbs up from me so far, will try the other flavors as soon as I get some more bottles.

Well, the DDC at 12% had very little taste. I suspect it was too high % so I diluted it down to 9.7% and it's better but still kinda weak tasting. What additives do you guys add to your chocolates? I added 2 drops EM per 10ml and 3 drops .9% saline but it's still missing something. Should I try diluting it down to 7-8%?

EM dulls down flavors quite a bit in my experience all while not adding too much to the overall experience. I've pretty much stopped using it altogether.

As with most chocolates, it's hard to master and I wouldn't expect a true 100% chocolate flavor. It's more of a mixer for me. Other flavors, like vanilla, do tend to bring chocolates out, but I've never had a stand-alone chocolate vape that I could stand vaping. The saline will help but it can only carry it so far. It's mainly there as most all bakery items use it, at least that I create. Custards may be the one exception to that rule.

I've not tried adding ACV to any of my blends, but I suppose it couldn't hurt.

My take on what I've tried so far.

Pina Colada 5% I've had better, for less money, but it isn't bad, going to play with it some, and up the percent.

Jamaican Rum 5% pretty decent rum, but more of a butter rum to me, kind of reminiscent of lifesaver butter rum.

Blood Orange 5% not bad for an orange, not a stand alone for me though, will make a decent mixer I found 5% sufficiently strong.

Mojito 5% a pretty decent mojito flavor, this one again will make a good mixer

Sweet Tarts 5% pretty spot on to the candy, good flavor on its own.

Peach Ring 5% If you like the gummy candies you should like this, needed a bit of sweetener for me though.

Sweet Tobacco 3%, just a little bit of sweet, and even less tobacco, may need to up the % on this one, UC steep did not help at all, may need some time and natural steep. need more testing, but not looking promising.

I'm normally a fairly heavy flavor guy, I need extra in most things, but 5% was pretty good on all of these, a few average, and a few winners. I have about 17 more flavors in the mail will update with them.

Customer service is pretty good for these guys, they actually seem to care about it. Hope this remains a business model for them, I can see some bulk orders in the future, especially if the rest of the flavors are as good. They may need to work at the Tab flavors though.

Will report back if my initial Tab impression changes.
