So since i started vaping and been cig free i for one find myself feeling alot better can breath easier and a whole bunch of other great things.

But as of lately i noticed a growing trend in my vaping and was wondering if anyone else is noticing this.

1: I am finding the stimulant of nic better then caffeine.
2: Water intake has increased 10x common do to the dehydration effect of vaping.
3: Caffeine intake has dropped considerably. And now finding myself chasing the stimulant side of nic.
4: Sodas and sugary drinks have been replaced with water and juices.

I am not really vaping more. Just find myself in the mornings chain vaping a few hits or so and getting to that stimulant side of nic. And it's like someone gave you a B-12 shot in the ..... Off to the races skip the coffee. Also doesn't seem to me to have that caffeine crash when it wears off lol.

So at what point should i start to worry?

When you start injecting nic fluid directly into your veins, go see someone qualified.

When i get this far i don't think i'll have to worry about seeing someone qualified, Because the only person qualified will be a mortician :p

Details on your e-liquid .. please .. ?? ;)

Stanard 12mg nic 65/35 area blend. Currently Nite Lite Vapor Vanilla Strait.

if your nic intake INCREASES from what it was on "analogs," then you can worry.

Not seeing a increase actually have cut down y nic juices from 24mg to 12mg and thinking of actually moving down to 6mg.

I think this sums up nicotine the best.

Research suggests that, when smokers wish to achieve a stimulating effect, they take short quick puffs, which produce a low level of blood nicotine. This stimulates nerve transmission. When they wish to relax, they take deep puffs, which produce a high level of blood nicotine, which depresses the passage of nerve impulses, producing a mild sedative effect. At low doses, nicotine potently enhances the actions of norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain, causing a drug effect typical of those of psychostimulants. At higher doses, nicotine enhances the effect of serotonin and opiate activity, producing a calming, pain-killing effect. Nicotine is unique in comparison to most drugs, as its profile changes from stimulant to sedative/pain killer in increasing dosages and use.

Technically, nicotine is not significantly addictive, as nicotine administered alone does not produce significant reinforcing properties. However, after coadministration with an MAOI, such as those found in tobacco, nicotine produces significant behavioral sensitization, a measure of addiction potential. This is similar in effect to amphetamine.

Hopefully that doesn't violate any forum rules that's copied straight from wiki.

I do the same thing, I cut out my daily coffee/Red Bull intake and replaced it with nicotine. I stepped down over three months from 30mg to kill the analog craving and now I'm comfortably at 6mg all day, 12-18mg in the morning for a 'wake-and-vape', and half the time I pour nic-free juice into a tank and forget I did it, end up vaping it all day without noticing.

I see nothing wrong with the increase in water intake and cutting out caffeine at all, you're also cutting out all the acidic components in coffee/energy drinks, which is better in the long run. Also nothing wrong, IMO, with using higher levels of nicotine versus the amount you got when you smoked, especially if you're cutting out another toxin besides just cigarettes. As I said, I started on 30mg, and I smoked maybe one or two cigarettes a night..generally people using 24mg+ are two-pack-a-day smokers it seems. But I needed that massive amount of nic at first to really get over the hump and quit.

1. Caffeine is something else and nicotine is something else. I use both and do not confuse them.

2. I do not drink water at all.

3. Before I started vaping I drank about six big coffee cups a day (about 300 ml each). Now I still drink about six big coffee cups a day. Nothing changed in my case except the change from smoking to vaping.

4. I do not drink sodas, sugary drinks, juices, or water at all.

So at what point should i start to worry?

None. You are different person than me so your habits may be different than mine.

Yes kellycat that is something i need to do for nite time is get some nic free juice. I think though i am going to get my feet wet in some DIY fro making that. And get some knowledge and good mixing practices before thinkin gof playing with a bottle that can kill me lol. But i also agree with you i think i needed that nic punch to get off the cigs. Then after that is pretty much when i started looking for lower lvl juices.

when you battery is dead and you don't have a spare. :p

LOL! I am good on bats for now i started with a E-Smart starter kit 2 bats and clearos for that. Then got a evod/mini protank kit 2 bats and 2 mini pro's which i love btw. Just wish the evod batteries where in a VV form factor i love how their flush with the tanks and button. Looking for a VV/VW for tinkering with but i really don't want anything huge or looking like i am carrying a nightstick. So most likely be using the evod/protank for a long while. Def getting mini protanks II fro the removable driptip. The other day i bounce the protanks driptip on my teeth and i swear i knocked a tooth loose lol.

No amount of vaping could get me off the caffeine!

I still admit i enjoy my Mt. Dew but just not as much. I will admit alot of things i used to like i hate now due to getting taste back and high fructose corn syrup taste like CRAP!!!!!!

Not confusing them just stating i have traded one stimulant for another. Smoking reg cig never gave me this nic stimulant side. I think after about 25 years of smoking it just became smoke jusst to smoke and didn't get anything from it anymore. Other then to curb the dreaded withdraws of all the crap in cigs.

from what I see, all you've done is get positive effects from Vaping, unless you find that your Nicotine "need" is heavy, then seek some help, till then I think you're doing pretty good, no need for sugary drinks or pops

Yes they are good side effects.

Now all i need is some battery powered magical device to get me off my .... and goto the gym lol. But no so far it's great and enjoying it and the benefits. Just one thing i can't stand is the constant runny nose for exhaling threw my nostrils :(

I had to cut my caffeine...and sugary stimulants. I started at 24mg, and after 2-3 months, I began to get jitters, anxiety, sleeplessness, yada yada. I found that the worse periods were mid-morning and mid-afternoon. These were the times after a few cups of coffee and little food. I cut way back on caffeine and cut my nic level down to 12mg.

Water intake has always been hard because I've never been a big water drinker...so I'm working on that. I found flavored club soda (no sugar) helped keep me drinking.

Look at what you were getting smoking analogs

anywhere from .5 to 1.6mg of Nic, anywhere from 10-20mg TAR, and 10-20mg of Carbon Monoxide

So what were you truly "addicted" to?

Nicotine is just like any other chemical stimulant...
