I got the polished metal one from vapor beast.com. I get more flavor from the Kanger versus the vivi (using the same liquid). I ordered a second set of 18350 batteries, the "low v" appears after 6 hours. I've turned off the display, hoping that will add some time to the batteries.

Tim at vapor beast shipped the V3 kit for free, 47¢ to ship the extra batteries. What a find!

Can anyone tell me what atomizer comes with the Vamo version 3 kit?
One of them was a dud, didn't work at all, in fact it didn't even have any threads on the mouthpiece to screw it in.
The other one is great, I love it. I have been using Visions, but they taste terrible, and burn. I'm thinking they are Ce4's.
Having a lot of trouble finding an atty I like. Don't like the Kanger T3's at all. Just don't like the bottom feeders. And it floods constantly.

Any help with what it is would be very much appreciated.
Oh and I ordered a new charger for it, it's the Nitecore I2. Figured it's better than going through the hassle of sending the crappy one that came with the Vamo back.

I did notice the SS is diferent from chrome and black. On chrome and black you need one of the 2 size tubes for diferent baterias size and the SS is more like the v2 all tubes for long configuration. At least the one in fasttech is like that.

I like better to have just one single tube for each configuration and not 2 tubes for long configuration, that will add too many grooves to the swirl design

i dont like the vivi nova on my vamo, if i crank the volts or watts up it gets a really nasty taste. but when i use the kanger protank i can crank the volts up to 4.7 or 10.5 watts for a monster hit.

really liking the protank with the vamo.

Not only on vamo.. I cant go up in my vivis higher than 6.5w on any device but the flavor is much better than my protanks at 10+w

Looks good indeed. Is it in 18350 mode in that pic?

Yup. I prefer 18350 mode otherwise it feels like a lightsaber handle. I guess if I could find a nice lightsaber skin that wouldn't be too bad.

We'll see how long I go in this configuration before changing batteries becomes a chore and practicality overrides aesthetics. :2cool:

Vamo V3 Gun Metal (or black chrome) w/ an Smok Artemis tank. These were made to be together. The Artemis tank just fits over the top screw cap so it lets little to no air in which resolves the fluttering noise. 1/32 of a twist lets a little more air in but a bit more noise. I can pump up the volume a bit with it locked down all the way to get what I need in public, or loosen it up in private to get a bit more batt life. Though just hair shade off in color from each other, these two were meant to be together. I got mines from Smok Locking DCT (Artemas) - Black Anodized. surevapes (dot) com. There are other vendors. But Surevapes ships free for orders over $10 in the US. It's a 2m pic but still kinda dark sorry folks. V3A.jpg

How do some people vape so hot? On my eVod, once I get past 8.5w, it starts to taste burnt.

I vape mostly on 7w some atty or juices a bit higher and some atty or juice a bit lower but both my protanks i need to crank them up to 10w basically is the only one at that high

My V3 just came in today, having a bit of a problem with it when trying to stack 18350s. The force from the spring against the batteries and the spring force the part where the battery tube threads on to come apart from the rest of the unit, Started a thread, but titled it poorly so may or may not get a response, figured I would post the problem and picture here and see if you have any suggestions.

Just tried mine with stacked 18350 and it works good with no separation. It is just press fitted in so just push it back in and see if it works. And if not send it back for replacement good luck.

I realize its just presssure fitted, but its coming apart when i try them stacked. I really dont want to have to send this back to fasttech, especially if i have to send it now and wait till i get my replacement. Im waiting to move into my new apt (the 1st of next month) and my family closes on the house I currently live in on the 25th, and are moving to Houston (im up around chicago currently). I have no idea what my address will be by the time they send me a replacement, or that ill be living here by the tie the replacement arrives.

Don't stack, it's not a very safe or recommended procedure when dealing with Li-ion's.

With that said...
Since it has been mentioned that the culprit piece is just a press fit, some electrically conductive epoxy will permanently fix that problem for ya.

Pssst: don't tell anyone but I've successfully used really small, fine, shavings of metal in regular epoxy before

Both of those thoughts came to me as i was driving home from breakfast with some friends i havent seen in years actually. Maybe a quick run to lowes/home depot and this will all be fixed.

As far as stacking, I have read a lot of mixed reviews, the only benefit I see is that it is less strain on the batteries. If the battery compartment is vented and there is a circuit board with protection I dont see what all can go wrong....excluding a catastrophic failure, which would happen with a single battery as well, from what i know, which, involving mods, is not a lot. Been doing research, trying to educate myself more on the subject.

I hate when people just do statement whe they really dont know what da heck they are talking about. Ho said stacking batteries is dengerous? In fact is safer since you will double the volt output and you will have less amp drain from the batteries .. Please learn before advice to someone
